There is a lively market around the hotel.

There was a marche around the hotel and it was quite lively. The entrance is quite confusing, so it is better to call the hotel and ask. It's a part of a multi-use building, so I don't think you'll know for sure at first sight. There are no elevators, so if you have a large suitcase, it can be a bit difficult. There was no hairdryer or refrigerator. There were mosquitoes, so it's safer to have mosquito repellent. There was free Wi-Fi. The hotel was very hospitable, and they were very friendly and helpful to me when I had any problems during my stay. Basically, it will be in French. Beer is also available at the front desk. The hotel was busy, but they also took us to a great restaurant on the beach, and a supermarket. That restaurant is hard for foreign tourists to go to alone. Thank you very much for your help. Right in the middle of the market area of Lome.

I feel that there should be a rating in between 'very good' and 'average' so i could rate this hotel like i want to. For a start its cheap as chips, its right in the market area so in the busiest part of Lome, but not too noisy, the rooms are really clean, have balconies so you can watch the bustle and the staff are lovely...but...OMG...it has the hardest, most uncomfortable beds ive slept on since i was young enough to backpack. I live on islands that you have to get a 12 hour ferry to, and, honestly, sleeping on the floor in the bar is more comfortable.
So if you do not mind sleeping on granite, i totally recommend this place. Its safe, cheap and clean...but...omg..those beds.
