A gem in the ancient heart of Bizerte.
I am completely thrilled with this small hotel in the old city wall of the Medina. Originally, authentically, lovingly, and furnished with consideration for the historical building - anyone seeking a personal experience should inquire about this "pearl"! Car: park in front of the Medina, walk to the hotel, luggage can be taken later if necessary.

Unique in every respect
Our stay at the Medina Riad Hotel in Bizerte was simply exceptional – there is no other way to describe it.
Actually, we only planned two nights... we ended up staying for a whole week. This has never happened to us before – and actually says it all.
The architecture of the house is beautiful and designed with so much attention to detail that you immediately feel comfortable. Every angle has character and invites you to discover.
But what makes this place really special is the team. We were incredibly warmly welcomed and looked after throughout the stay as if we were part of a family. A special thanks goes to MO and Sabrina – we were able to switch off completely and leave the entire holiday planning to them. They took care of everything with so much commitment and feeling that we didn't have to worry about anything.
A real highlight was cooking together with other guests – a beautiful experience that connects and is remembered. Even the organized horseback riding trip was perfectly planned and simply fantastic.
We can hardly put our feelings into words. There's something magical about this place. You arrive, you let go and you just live the moment.
For us it was not just a holiday – it was an experience we will never forget.

Like from 1001 Nights
At the beginning of August we spent some wonderful days as a couple at the Al Madina Hotel. If you expect a standardized luxury, this is the wrong place - but if you want to embark on a journey into the senses and an authentic, traditional atmosphere, you will be thrilled!
The hotel impresses with its beautiful Arabic-Andalusian style. The architecture, the arches, the details - you immediately feel transported to another, very appealing time.
The absolute highlight for us was the beautiful roof terrace! This is where we spent every night. With a tea or fresh mint tea we enjoyed the unique atmosphere, the tranquility and the view over the rooftops of Bizerte. This was pure romance and the perfect place to end the day.
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout. Our room was clean, well air conditioned and stylishly decorated in the design of the house.
Breakfast with fresh bread, olives, oil and honey was a perfect start to the day.
We can recommend the hotel to all couples who are looking for peace, culture and genuine atmosphere. Thank you for this special stay!

Ending our trip on a high note
What a great place to end our trip. Bizerte is a very relaxed place and a great place to spend several days after travelling around Tunisia.
The hotel itself was excellent, mainly down to Mohammed and his fantastic team who make you feel so welcome and go out of their way to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Breakfast was hands down the best we had in Tunisia and great coffee was provided throughout the day.
We booked a suite as we wanted more room, which was really good value and had everything we needed. The main hang out space downstairs is very convivial and a great way to meet other guests or just to relax.
The location is also perfect, in the medina and next to the historic port. I really cannot recommend this place enough. What a high note to end on and I cannot wait to visit again.
On a practical note, Mohammed can arrange a car transfer to and from the airport, which is less than an hour away. He also helped arrange a half day tour out to the coast, which was appreciated.
If you are flying in or out from Tunis airport then I highly recommend staying here rather than the capital.
