Good family holiday
Stayed for a week and had a great time. Staff are all very friendly and working hard all the time. Special thanks to Mya and the kids team and also Mohammed at the aqua bar. Room was adequate for the 3 of us and luckily we had interconnected to the grandparents which was really handy. The grounds are well maintained and the hotel is spread out so although large doesn’t feel too overwhelming. Plenty of loungers by the pools we didn’t have any issues finding space any time of the day. Pools are a little chilly but didn’t stop us enjoying them. Food was good but perhaps not the cast selection some may expect but the puddings were delicious. Hotel has some areas that have signs of wear and tear and in need of maintenance but it didn’t affect us at all. The only slight downside for us was although the beach is beautiful as it is public there was quite a bit of rubbish broken plastic and glass and lots of poo from the camels and horses where locals are offering rides. I appreciate this is not the hotels fault or within their control but when tracking with a small child we just had to extra careful when we were there. All in all a great holiday and we would come back.

Loved it!
Travelled as a family of 5 (including our 7-year-old son and grandparents) during the Easter holidays from 3.4.26–13.4.26.
It was our first time visiting Djerba Island, and overall we came away with only positive feelings. When we first arrived, the weather wasn’t great, but it improved quickly and became hotter every day, reaching over 25°C.
We had a small issue with our room initially, but it was resolved very quickly and we were relocated in no time, which we appreciated.
The hotel is located close to the airport, very clean, and only a short walk from the beach. There are plenty of sports activities available and several swimming pools, including a heated indoor pool. We also felt very safe leaving the hotel grounds, and there are a few local shops nearby.
We tried all three à la carte restaurants, each with a lovely atmosphere. The main buffet restaurant also offered a great variety of food every day.
We’re a sporty family, so we joined lots of activities throughout the day. The entertainment team was super friendly and there was always something going on. The evening shows were enjoyable too.
Our son Oskar loves football and really enjoyed the sessions with Billy. We also joined several fitness workouts with Ashley and Marcela to try and stay in shape while eating so much food — haha!
There’s also a fantastic tennis area, very well maintained by Mehdi.
The outdoor pools were still quite cold in April, but the heated indoor pool made up for it.
The beach was clean, with a beach bar, snacks, and beautiful views. You will find horses and camels at the beach which makes it what Djerba is about.
In the evenings there was a kids’ disco followed by entertainment shows. DJ Can kept the atmosphere going with great music until midnight, and the lovely singer who is also part of the crew was a pleasure to listen to.
Ati and Akrem were always around, overseeing everything and ready to help whenever needed.
We also went and explored the island with a private tour around Djerbahood and markets.
Definitely recommend and would be back if we could!

Very good vacations with few inefficiencies
I spent (2 families - 3+3) vacations in this hotel 04-11.06 via TUI. Overall great hotel and Jerba great place for family vacations. First with good hotel points: many pools, beach, small aquapark, comfortable rooms, very good cleaning, very good food choice and most of all very good animations offer (starts from very morning at pools and go through kids disco to every night amptheater shows. I do advice this hotel and Jerba to visit.
Now on attantion points: avoid hotel shop (high prices vs market in Midoun and pesonel is not trustworthy), take taxi to maket/ souk (widely available going out from hotel) cost with taximeter 5 TND where ordered via hotel reception 10 TND (as taxi diver don't use taximeter).
Be careful with guest service if You speak to them English - we had bad story with two big swimming rings lost from hotel corridor and then we had bad service staff experiance. Next day in the morning once I raised our case I got impression it was neglected, second day it apreared that service person was not enough english speaking person and we were redirected to second guest service person unlikely the lady was not nice at start (saying first time hear on our issue and not interested in backgound information). All in all after some reflection lady apologied for her first approach.
Again, really advice the hotel (esp for families with children) but still hotel management has some points to rething and possibly improve

Again a very good stay, animation activites and rest
Returning this year to this great hotel, we did enjoy again, room quality, nice entertainement, most beautiful beach and multiple pool (except too many smookers). tunisian waiters are always smiling and nicely discussing. We enjoyed actvities sport and dance night partie. We got great dance show and lesson and want to specially thanks Tiffany for here positive energy and good teaching. Food is great, they improved the breakfast this year. lunch diner was a little redondant we it is ok. we surely will return to TUI MAGIC LIFE Penelope Beach.

Excellent hotel
The hotel is very nice and clean.food is delicious and always available,the pool is clean and has plenty of shaded.the entertainment team is the best especially Haydar and Amine,they are very friendly and helpful.i recommend this hotel to everyone and i will be back.
