Great place, delicious food, incredibly lovely people
Monarque Club Rivage is great. Perfectly located. For example, restaurant is literally on the beach. As same as one of two big swimming pools. You will find many attractions and amenities in Club Rivage.
The food is delicious and the selection is huge. Everyone will find something to suit their taste
Monastir is great city to stay if you want to visit North Tunisia. It takes about 1,5 hour to get to Tunis, Cartagina or Sidi Boi Said. No more then 20 minutes to get to Susa. It takes 15 minutes to get to Airport from Hotel.
Of course weather is always great and sea is pretty warm.
Standard of the hotel Monarque Club Rivage is pretty well and the value for money is fantastic.
But all of everything above is nothing acording to how lovely are the people working in this hotel. Thanks to them, my vacation was a dream and the time spent with them was really nice.

Dhia - recepcionist - he can help with every problem in just few minutes with smile on his face even when language barriers appeared

Hamdi, Bechir, Mohamed and other guys from hotel shop - my new real friends - It's not just a hotel gift shop; it's the true heart of the hotel community, a place for conversation, jokes, and good advice. They have a very wide selection of products. If they don't have something, they'll get it the next day. And the prices are very good; you'd be hard-pressed to find the same products at a better price outside the hotel.

Perfectly adequate. Despite the lack of luxury, they have working air conditioning, are clean, and have comfortable beds.
Atractions nearby
I wouldn't lie if I said it was just around the corner. Besides the numerous hotel attractions, you can also go jet skiing on the neighboring beach, or take a parachute ride or a motorboat towed sofa.
Safety
The hotel grounds are as safe as in Poland. Outside the hotel, you can also move around without stress.
Pedestrian friendly
Complete freedom of movement within the hotel grounds. If you want to venture out into the city, taxis are available at the hotel gate, making them the best way to travel independently outside the hotel.
Food and drink
The highest possible league. The multitude and variety of meals, sweets, fruits and drinks is unimaginable. The products are of the highest quality. The taste is wonderful no matter what you choose. Big greetings and compliments to the entire team of chefs and waiters. Your effort and dedication in preparing such wonderful meals is evident, and despite the intense heat in the kitchen, you still manage to smile sincerely at your guests.
Every evening there are some events prepared by personnel.
Area of restaurant, swimming pools, and theater can be loud in the evening, but it shouldn't be a problem even for guests looking for some peace and quiet, because rooms area is far enough to ensure the appropriate volume level

Great Food, Friendly Staff & Good Value – Just Keep Realistic Expectations
We stayed for 8 nights in the middle of July and booked at a good price. Overall, we felt the hotel offered good value for money, as long as you keep your expectations in line with the price paid.
We stayed in a bungalow, which was clean, spacious, and comfortable, although a little dated. The air conditioning worked well, which was absolutely essential in July. Our friends initially had an issue with theirs, but the hotel changed their room without any fuss. Housekeeping was excellent. Our room was cleaned every day, towels were changed frequently, and the lady looking after our room clearly took great pride in her work. She was always smiling and friendly. The only small downside was that some towels and bed linen had definitely seen better days, although others looked brand new.
There were a few ants around the bungalow door and on the porch, but nothing that caused any real problems. The porch was a lovely place to sit in the evening. Our location was ideal, close to both the pool and the lobby.
The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were offered the option to pay for a late check-out, but they also kindly gave us an extra hour free of charge, which was a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated.
The pool was clean and well maintained. We never had to fight for sunbeds, and there were always some available. However, if your group wants 8–10 loungers together, it's worth getting there around 8:00 a.m. The only downside was that many of the sunbed mattresses could have been cleaner.
Pool towels required a deposit and could normally be exchanged daily. However, they occasionally ran out of clean towels in the evening, meaning we had to keep ours overnight and exchange them the following morning.
The hotel warned guests about possible water cuts, and we did experience this a couple of times during the night or very early morning. We never experienced any power cuts. We're not sure whether this is a Tunisia-wide issue or specific to the hotel.
The food was one of the highlights. It was tasty, well-seasoned, and offered plenty of variety. Even the picky eaters in our group always found something they enjoyed, and it was a great opportunity to try something new. The only thing missing was proper food labels, as most dishes were not identified, making it difficult to know exactly what you were choosing.
During busy meal times, there were sometimes short queues, but the restaurant staff worked efficiently and kept everything moving. Occasionally they ran out of ice, Coke or Fanta, soup spoons, or clean cutlery, and there were sometimes dirty plates or glasses left in circulation.
The local alcoholic drinks were perfectly acceptable, and the bar staff were generous with the measures. The juices were very sweet concentrates rather than fresh juice. Standard all-inclusive cocktails were quite basic, while premium spirits and cocktails were available at an extra charge. Bottled still and sparkling water was available at every bar, which was appreciated.
The afternoon snack by the pool was tasty but lacked variety, with the same two types of sandwiches and pancakes served every day.
The à la carte restaurant was a pleasant experience thanks to the table service and more relaxed atmosphere. However, it's worth noting that the dishes were essentially taken from the main buffet restaurant's menu rather than being a separate or more exclusive selection, so don't expect any special or unique dishes.
The water slides were well supervised, and both the lifeguards and the animation team did a great job engaging with children and creating a fun atmosphere.
The beach had security present, which was reassuring. We didn't spend much time there because the sea was often quite murky, and the beach occasionally had an unpleasant smell. The beach itself was fairly narrow but otherwise fine.
There was a large gift shop on site with a good variety of souvenirs and holiday essentials. While it was possible to negotiate the price of some items, it was still generally quite expensive. The weekly market held at the hotel also had plenty of choice, but prices started high, so bargaining was definitely expected.
The hotel's excursion representative was professional, friendly, and enjoyable to chat and negotiate with. Unfortunately, our snorkelling trip was cancelled due to sea conditions, but we were kept well informed the day before, again on the morning of the trip, and were offered either a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule without any hassle. We really appreciated how smoothly this was handled.
The beach vendors were generally polite and not overly pushy, which made walking along the beach much more enjoyable. Water sports such as jet skiing, banana boat rides, and parasailing had fixed prices, so there was no need to negotiate.
Evening entertainment was hit and miss. The dance show was excellent, and the nighttime foam party in the pool was great fun. The White Party felt a little disappointing, as preparations started in the afternoon and everything was packed away by around 10:30–11:00 p.m. One evening even featured a dance game on a games console, which certainly wasn't something we expected!
One thing to consider when booking is that lower-priced hotels naturally attract a wide range of guests. Unfortunately, we occasionally saw poor hygiene habits from other holidaymakers, such as sneezing into their hands before touching serving tongs or handling bread without using the cloths provided. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault and is outside their control. On the positive side, we didn't experience noisy parties, excessive drunken behaviour, or any disturbances during our stay.
Thing worth mentioning is how easy communication was throughout the hotel. Most of the staff spoke good English, and quite a few also spoke a fair amount of Polish. We even came across several staff members who knew some Hungarian phrases. I can't comment on other languages, but we never had any communication issues. The entertainment team also included several Polish members, making Polish-speaking guests feel especially welcome.
The Wi-Fi was good in the lobby and reached parts of the pool area, although it disconnected from time to time. We even had some Wi-Fi in rooms that were quite far from the main building. The signal inside the rooms was weak but generally worked better on the porch.
A useful tip for anyone visiting Tunisia: if you exchange cash into the local currency (Tunisian dinar), request your exchange receipt. You'll need it if you want to exchange any leftover dinars back before leaving. Also, make sure to spend any remaining cash before going through airport security, as you won't be able to use Tunisian dinars in the departures area after security. Any remaining Tunisian dinars may be confiscated if you try to take them through.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday. The hotel certainly has a few shortcomings, but when you consider the price we paid, it offered very good value for money. If you book with realistic expectations, you'll likely have a great stay. Thank you!

Nice Resort
The resort is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. The only minus is the sea, that is full of sea grass, but that makes sense, it's nature. The food here is very good and the service is perfect. Dhia from reception helped us, with everything we needed without hesitation. I definitely recommend this resort.

Very poor hotel
I rate my stay very poor. At check-in, the receptionist wanted us to pay extra for a better room, which we had already paid for. There were available rooms, but at an additional cost. The resort fee could only be paid in cash because the terminal wasn't working. The food was poor, with a small selection, although we weren't hungry. Sauces, jams, etc., weren't labeled, leaving guests clueless as to what was being served. In the a la carte restaurant, we were served wine by the glass, while in the all-inclusive restaurant, they poured it by the glass. There was often no ice for the drinks, which is bad with temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius. The drinks were watered down. I witnessed a waiter at the pool bar in the back open a bottle of vodka, poured half, and refilled it with water, making no secret of his actions. There were long lines at the pool bar, and only one person served. With so many guests in high season, the wait for a juice or beer was 15-20 minutes. Before departure, another waiter at the lobby bar tried to force-feed us Tunisian rum. It turns out they're pouring out the alcohol we paid for and then trying to sell it to us. The staff favors Arab guests. I was waiting for a drink at the bar when an Arab man approached from the side, and the bartender left me and served "his" first. The lady in the dining room deserves praise. As soon as she sees a guest, she immediately looks for a free table and makes sure everyone has what they need. The beach near the hotel is narrow and not very clean, with a lot of uncultivated grass. This is a good hotel for a last-minute budget trip... guaranteed good weather and you won't starve.
