Typical hotel

Very nice hotel, in the center of the medina and just 300 meters from the most important mosque in Tunis. It has typical rooms in traditional style. Breakfast, plentiful and good, is held on the balcony on the top floor.
The owner is extremely nice and helpful and our experience was very positive. Recommended for all those who want to stay in the beautiful Tunisian medina.

In short:

I don't want to make a negative review because the staff was kind anyway but I have to warn the next travelers.
The location is truly exceptional, practically it will be like sleeping in a very old typical local house. If you have a spirit of adaptation it is the right place for you otherwise look elsewhere.
Very old structure and full of carpet and dust not suitable for allergic people.
Hot water is obtained only by opening a gas cylinder. The bathroom is dilapidated and you will find only two small shampoo samples and two very worn towels.
Poor breakfast: two eggs, bread and coffee served on the top floor so not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Wi-Fi absent and I add that in winter it could be very cold.

A magnificent experience to live

An exceptional welcome with a very good meal. Everything there was the charm of Tunisia and the extraordinary kindness of Tunisians. Thank you for this wonderful moment they offered us. I highly recommend this place in the heart of the old town of tunis in narrow alleys where it is very nice to walk after a good meal at Kenza

Nightmare

We made a reservation and there was the nightmare of zero service and an unprofessional welcome, the reservation was by watssap and on arrival nothing is consistent with what we reserved to eliminate from TripAdvisor zero service, the breakfast was catastrophic

I can't wait to return to this exceptional and different place

The owner is very helpful and smiling. The place is magnificent traditional in the heart of the medina. We reserved a dinner on the terrace. since the owner is a good cook...
