Had high expectations but wasn’t what it seemed
On the positive side, we were pleasantly surprised to receive our room at around 11:00 am, rather than having to wait until the standard 2:00 pm check-in time. After travelling with children, this was greatly appreciated. The hotel is also very family-friendly when it comes to the pool facilities. There are plenty of pools that are fun and suitable for children of different ages, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed them throughout our stay. The public areas of the hotel were generally clean, and the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for us.
Our room was a huge disappointment. Although it appeared to have been cleaned, the overall standard of cleanliness was poor. The carpets throughout the room were heavily stained and looked worn and neglected. The decorative cushions had multiple stains, one of the chairs had dark red stains that appeared to be blood, and there were squashed dead insects on the ceiling directly above the bed where I slept. These are not things I would expect from a hotel advertised as five stars.
The third bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning also struggled to cool the room properly and often felt like it was blowing warm air. The bathroom was another disappointment, with visible mould around the shower and sealant, a constant damp smell, and towels that frequently had stains on them. Even the minibar fridge failed to keep drinks properly cold, so they were often only slightly cooler than room temperature.
The food was another letdown. While there was plenty of choice, the menu was very repetitive, and after nine days my children were eating virtually the same meals every day. The drinks also weren’t to our taste. For example, the Sprite available at the bars tasted very different from what we expected, which made mocktails much less enjoyable.
The evening entertainment was average at best. The shows weren’t particularly engaging, and we often left before they finished because they failed to hold our attention. Afterwards, there was usually very little else happening around the resort, so we often ended up returning to our room early.
The mini club was enjoyable for the children, but I felt some of the activities were overpriced. Charging €15 for a child to colour and decorate a T-shirt with glitter seemed excessive, especially after already paying a significant amount for the holiday.
By the fourth day of our holiday, I found myself counting down the days until it was time to fly home. That’s not how anyone wants to feel on a family holiday, especially after investing so much money in it. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our time away, we were disappointed by the ongoing issues with the room and the overall experience.
Overall, our stay was disappointing. While the pools, early check-in, friendly staff, and clean public areas were definite positives, the condition and cleanliness of our room, the repetitive food, average entertainment, and additional charges for children’s activities significantly affected our holiday.
Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend Miracle Resort to families expecting a five-star standard. While the hotel has some excellent facilities for children, the condition and cleanliness of our room fell well below our expectations. I genuinely hope the hotel takes this feedback on board, as it has the potential to offer a much better experience than the one we had.

Miracle turkey, was ok
Won't go into the negatives loads because I'm not being a Karen lol, it's just things that we personally didn't like. I get that it is more hygienic but evening meal was stressful, it was so busy in the restraint, couldn't serve yourself so they would either pile your plate with too much of one kind of food or not enough food, hard when you were trying to already carry more than one plate with having children too.
Smoking people just smoke everywhere including children's areas, I just don't think that's right, lighting one up straight after the other. At one point my partner told a man to either move from us or stop because he literally lit 3 cigarettes one after the other in the children's evening entertainment area where they do not supply ash trays so I wouldn't expect people to smoke there. Same by the kids pool with the smoking, I just think they need designated areas to smoke to keep it family friendly.
The maid would ask my partner for change everyday. We did tip her part way through but did not want to daily we just did it once part way through but still asked him for change. We did leave money on the table one day but not meaning for it to be left as a tip and this was taken, only a few euros but still it wasnt there to be taken. It was pushed together with the kids toys not left out on a bed or anything but just thought that was a bit cheeky.
Our view was of the back of the kitchens and the smell came up like the smell of burgers so didn't really sit on the balcony.
They like you to do a survey on site if you are just sitting in their reception area and to make sure you do it they come back to take a picture of it. Just felt a bit pressured at the time not to write the negatives as they then want to talk about what you've written
Not massive negatives and overall a lovely stay but we will be trying somewhere else in turkey next x
