three days of pampering in cappadocia

Excellent hotel in all respects. Typical hotel carved into the rock, in a central position; it was therefore possible to visit all the sites we had set out to visit, moving on foot.
A unique panoramic terrace and a particular decor.
The availability and kindness of the hotel manager contributes to the more than excellent score.
The only flaw, but it's just a personal opinion, a breakfast too uncontinental (the salty/sweet ratio tends to be much heavier towards salty).

Magical

We stayed here at the beginning of May. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we didn't see the balloons but we had a wonderful time at Maccan Cave Hotel. The room was fantastic. Very clean and atmospheric. Lovely location. Mert, Hassan and Mustafa ensured we had a lovely stay. They made us feel at home with their hospitality and genuine care. We left as friends. We have booked to go back in July and can't wait to see them again xx

Exceptional

I stayed at the Maccan Hotel from the 26th to the 29th, and I can’t emphasise enough how exceptional the experience was. Mert was an outstanding host—kind, gentle, and incredibly attentive to our needs throughout our stay.
Towards the end of the trip, I came down with a cold, and Mert went above and beyond to help. At around 6am, he kindly prepared a hot lemon, ginger, and honey tea for my sore throat, which I truly appreciated. He was always ready to assist, and whenever we wanted Turkish tea, he happily prepared it for both me and my friend.
Mert also organised our horse riding tour, took the time to explain all available excursions in detail, and offered thoughtful recommendations on what to see and experience. His level of care and attention was truly exceptional.
All the staff were fantastic—the kitchen team and cleaner were equally welcoming and contributed to such a positive experience. The hotel itself was clean, beautiful, and very well maintained.
Overall, it was an exceptional stay. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

5 Stars! Maccan Cave Hotel with Max!

5 Stars!
I would give it 10 if I could. We had such an amazing experience at Maccan Cave Hotel! Max, who is the owner, was so gracious and incredible that we felt like princesses at a castle. Not only did he help us book amazing tours, but he saved us tons of money with his recommendations as well. The hotel itself has an amazing view from the balcony and rooms. The balloons at sunrise were breathtaking and some came close right over the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Overall, we felt like we were on a 5-star hotel. Please visit Max and stay at the Maccan. You will not be disappointed!!!
