Best landlady ever

I was late for the 9-day holiday planning and it was the night before holiday, I was calling each hotel/guesthouse in Cesme that I googled in the map. It might be the 15th trial that Antik Ridvan Hotel told that they had a room. It is an old building with its own style that gives it a rightful reputation in its name “antique”. It is between a guesthouse and a hotel. Location is superior since it is definetely close to all old center, marina, bus-station and old coast. Although furniture is not in the best condition, it gives a real sound of living in an eagean-building. There is a big inside courtyard in the building and building seems like a mixture of turkish-grek style architecture to my uneducated eyes (pay attention that I am not an architect but a tourist). Inside is much more turkish style. I admired wooden stairs at first sight. But the scent of soft soap when you step in, is a total gain that visited me from my childhood. Rooms are not luxorous, small and not in the best condition but clean, safe and comfortable. The biggest insufficiency is being lack of balcony and windows openning out(my room was in the second floor looking through inside courtyard). Shower-place and bathroom is quiete small but works well. Breakfast is traditional turkish style based (white cheese, young turkish cheese, various jams, boiled egg, some fresh vegetables, home-made cake), I tried in the first morning (To my opinion, adding some hot-cooked taste could have inceased my continuity to breakfasts). Beyond all the best part of the hotel ia the landlady - she is like a far cousin of you knowing everything around Cesme and spending unbelievable effort for all of her guests to keep away them making a mistake. She spent seripus time several times in order to give me the right advise (restaurants, transportation, cuisine) what I was looking for. That is not something you can find easily these days in Turkey as service quality is getting poor. I stayed for 350tl/night (app 45-50 €/night) for the room during all holiday. Please note that when it is high-season and you are the last-minute buyer this would be the top price as would be expected). If you like to experience something in an original way and under good guidance, strongly-recommended place to visit.

Basic Hotel - Fair Price

I visited Cesme during Bayram holiday time in September 2016 and found this really cheap Hotel near the harbor. It's really cheap but absolutely basic. The room was clean but don't expect much. You have air condition and wifi and it's absolutely perfect if you are just there for the night. The harbor and city is just a short walk away.

what you pay what you get .I am just wondering whats peoples expectations from the B&B hotels
hot water , clean room, confort beds, air condition , wi fi, satelite tv, hair dryer etc.
we have all.
if those not enough for you pay much more and go to the 5 star hotel.
