Fantastic sun blue apartments Icmeler
Sun blue apartments are in a fantastic location 2 min walk for the beach and 5 mins to the centre.
Lovely apartments and really friendly staff.
Fabulous pool area and very clean.
Never have the early morning rush for sun beds
Very quiet and relaxing just behind the canal.
If you want a good budget holiday then this is by far the best I have stayed in in icmeler and I have stayed in plenty.
Will definitely stay again and again and again!!

Dirty
Firstly I’ll say the positives.
Pool area lovely, always sun beds available. Food was nice. Staff very friendly. Location great.
Now for the negatives.
We arrived early hours and upon first look we thought the room looked fine. Upon closer inspection we were very wrong.
Firstly there was a microwave on the floor? Full of stuff, not sure what as I didn’t open it. I carried it out and left it on the hallway as it was dangerous having it on the floor with two children.
The sofa bed was lob sided, we had to prop it up.
The floor was filthy, absolutely minging, like it had never seen a mop.
The bed was all stained at the bottom.
The kettle and tea pot were disgusting. All the cutlery, plates etc looked like they’d never been washed.
There was wires hanging out the walls with a top floor window that did not close!
We were there for 1 weeks and the room was cleaned, bed and towels changed ONCE!
I complained to the jet2 rep but he was no help. We were offered to move rooms but we declined as we had spoke to other guests and it seemed we got lucky with our room as there’s was much worse, how that’s possible I don’t know?
The cleanliness of the hotel rooms is disgraceful.
It’s a shame as the pool area is lovely, the location is great but the rooms are dirty and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Enjoyable
Stayed at the Sun Blue Apartments for a week with my mum and Cousin. Had a great time. The location is perfect. 5 mins to the beach and 5 mins until you get to other restaurants and main shops. You walk in to a lovely main reception with Turkish lamps and surrounded by lovely greenery. A shout out to Abdullah and the bar man who are always friendly and helpful. They work very hard and long hours. Yes, the place needs a update but the pros outweigh the cons for us. We will be booking again for Aug 2026. Lesley & Joan.

Pleasent stay
Had a recent stay at these apartments as a family 2 adults and 4 girls.
Youngest Nancy being 3 who loved it!
we were made to feel very welcome by all staff especially Hassan. He couldn’t do enough for us and was very helpful.
The apartments do require modernising. I think the would hugely benefit these apartments as they do have a lovely homely atmosphere about them.
We had room no 2 which was fab. On the ground floor by the shop.
We had a buggy so this was a lot easier rather having a room upstairs.
Food was lovely and very reasonably priced.
Location is fantastic, very handy to town.
The only down side was one of our rooms upstairs was infested with ants really bad . We did report this and got moved.
overall our stay was pleasant.
For what we paid we couldn’t complain.

Need renovation!
In the photos you don’t necessarily get to see the room you get.
We were initially given an attic room in the annex,
With the fire escape up 2 floors with suitcases of 25 kilos in the blazing sun.
The room had a doubter, not a real double bed.
The air conditioning barely did anything.
1 electric burner and it was not clean.
On the uncovered balcony where there was also no umbrella you could not sit anyway, next to your head the exhaust of the air conditioning blew hot air in your face.
For that air conditioning we unexpectedly had to pay € 130, otherwise no remote..
We spent a day in contact with Tui, sending videos and photos.
Eventually we got a room on the ground floor.
That room was already better because of the location.
The air conditioning was also broken but was fixed.
The outside of the toilet was smeared with poop, was also cleaned.
On the balcony was also the exhaust of the air conditioning but fortunately a bit higher. We only turned off the air conditioning when we were sitting there.
The box of the sound system was in front of our balcony at solid volume, all day from 9.30 am to sometimes midnight.
Started piano jazz, county, 90ies to end up in the blues...every day. (Groundhog Day)
The last day we had dinner there, a tasteless warmed pizza.
The only positive is the nice staff, the fantastic location and the great pool.
This does not meet the requirements that Tui should have.
