I booked a place for 2 persons in a big room 5-6 days before I arrive. When I was there did they give my room to another couple and that room they gave me was like a doghouse

Disappointing Stay Despite a Good Location
I am giving Hermanos Hotel two stars, mainly because of its central location and comfortable beds. Unfortunately, almost every other part of the stay was disappointing.
When I arrived to check in at around 5pm, I handed over our passports, but the receptionist seemed confused and acted as though there was no booking under my name. She then asked me to provide confirmation, which I have never experienced at a hotel before. I was fortunately carrying a printed copy of the booking confirmation.
I was then informed that the double-bed sea-view room I had specifically booked was not available. Despite arriving well after the usual check-in time, we were reluctantly placed in a poor temporary room on the ground floor with an unpleasant view for the first night.
We were told to return after 12pm the following day to move rooms, as though we were not tourists who had plans and wanted to explore the city. We had to leave our belongings at reception and spend the day feeling stressed about whether everything would be moved safely. The bags were eventually placed in the new room, but the whole situation was inconvenient and poorly handled.
Both rooms were extremely small, with barely enough space to move around comfortably. The cleanliness was also concerning. Behind the radiators there was a severe accumulation of dust, which made it seem as though the rooms had not been properly deep cleaned for a long time.
The WiFi was practically unusable. It constantly disconnected every 30 seconds across all of my family’s devices, making it impossible to use reliably.
There was also a brown stain on one of the bedsheets in the second room. After returning the following day, we noticed that the same sheet had simply been made back into the bed rather than replaced with a clean one. The towels also did not appear to have been changed.
The attitude of the staff was another major disappointment. Most employees appeared uninterested, unfriendly and unwelcoming. Only one receptionist seemed able to communicate properly in English, which made resolving problems very difficult. The receptionists, cleaners, maintenance staff and restaurant workers often came across as dismissive and arrogant rather than helpful.
The breakfast staff also started packing away food before the advertised breakfast period had ended. They frequently stared at guests, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable.
The main positives are the location, which is convenient for many of Istanbul’s attractions and nearby tram connections, especially considering the price. The beds were also comfortable.
However, the poor organisation at check-in, incorrect room allocation, cleanliness problems, unusable WiFi and unfriendly service made the stay far more stressful than it should have been. I would not choose to stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel for the third time - never had any issues. Breakfast is always great , rooms clean , hot shower , AC works well, good location. Will definitely stat again in the future

Lots of shops and restaurants around the hotel,noisy in the night and early morning. A lot of smokers downstairs that you can smell the cigarette smell coming through the AC to the rooms.
