Good location, helpfull staff, very clean

Hotel Marcello has very good lacation. Near is tram station and Yenikapi metro station, from where you can connect with all Istanbul. By walking you can easly and quickly come to Grand Baazar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc. Rooms are clean and wide, beds comfortable. In room you have safe, tea and coffe set (cups, cooker, spoon), small fridge. Bathroom isn't wide but is well organised with good ventilation and sound isolation. Hair dryer is very good. Rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast is very good. Meals are not the same every day. Staff is friendly and helpfull. WIFI is pretty good (fast, no breaks, sometimes stops after midnight).

Terrible

Service is terrible. Especially when you wait for your room, which you have booked two months ago, till 9 p. m. with no reason. According to hotel policy, check in - 1 p. m. Well done guys! Well done!

Great location, friendly staff and a nice view

I stayed here for 6 nights, and the staff are very friendly. The main receptionist speaks English, but the rest of the staff have very limited English. The hotel offers the basics and if you stay on the top floor, then you can get a nice distant view of the sea from the Juliette Balcony. It's located conveniently near lots of shops, restaurants and the tram which is 3 stops from the main attractions such as the Hagia Sofia. I would probably stay here again as the price was reasonable and the staff were friendly. A little more care is needed with room cleaning, but I've stayed at worst hotels!. The wife was good.

bad wifi

The wifi is very bad,most of the time there is no net,air condition also does not work for the last 2 days i spent inthis hotel.Laleli tram is near,i like the restaurant because of it's view infront of sea.
