True review of seven hills palace

Recently returned from a few nights stay at this pleasant hotel.
The location is quite central for the tourist area. The sea front on one side and the old town to the back of the hotel.
Most places are walkable from the hotel.
We were situated in the annex at the back of the hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. Views were limited though.
Breakfast was a fantastic buffet spread.
We ate in the restaurant one night. Food was ok but we found it quite expensive.
Staff were very friendly.
Overall we would definitely return to this hotel if we were ever in Istanbul again.

A Pleasant Stay with a Spacious Room

We stayed in Room 1301 after some initial confusion at reception regarding our booking with a different travel agent. The staff were helpful in sorting things out, and after viewing a few rooms, we settled into this one.
The room was spectacular, spacious and well appointed. The food at the restaurant was great, and the staff were friendly and polite.
Overall, it was a nice stay with no major issues.

Great location shame about the view!

This hotel is in a good location- very handy for the historic sites nearby. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very nice. We had drinks on the terrace one evening- very expensive. The hotel itself has a kind of faded grandeur vibe. We were on a ground floor room in the annexe which felt quite different from the main hotel. Our room was quite dark with a view of the generator. Big comfy bed though and very quiet.

Location, service and style

Perfect location for walking to the famous sights (cobbled streets most on an incline on the way there). The hotel was smart and we had a fantastic huge room (deluxe double) with a purple ceiling, chandelier, and jacuzzi bath - all kept fabulously clean every day. Staff were friendly and so helpful. My husband loved his massage and took several free trips to the sauna, steam room and hamam. The pool area is smaller than appears on the websites but lovely for sitting around during the day/evening. Downside was the price of food and alcohol in the restaurant - be aware that the other Seven Hills Restaurant terrace that overlooks the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are not at this hotel. Breakfast was fine (both are veggies and I love scrambled eggs!). The view from the restaurant here is over the sea - still pleasant. Definitely recommend - especially with 50% hotel discount.

Good location, very clean

Hotel in a great location for the old city and all the main tourist attractions. Room in loft with only a velux and no view out. No fire escape (or fire exit signs). Staff mainly friendly. One odd guy in reception. Restaurant expensive and not brilliant food compared to local restaurants near by. Breakfast good. Very clean. Airport transfer good. Never found the spa, pool not heated.
