Terrible!
I just want to share the humiliation we experienced with this hotel. We were in another neighborhood for our vacation, but because we wanted to tour Kaş too, we called a night in advance and rented the room for a day and put it in a shed. We arrived at the hotel at 2 p.m. the next day, which is check-in time, and we were told that the room was being repaired. They began their efforts to persuade us to try to put us in one master-working room. She was working in the master room due to a problem in the bathroom. We could have left our things out. The master who worked in the bathroom would take 4 hours. We could use the bathroom, but we couldn’t use the shower. Whatever you want, there’s a shovel, concrete flooring, and paint. You pay! You’re given the key to a 24 hour home vibe, but there’s another one with an entry exit. And construction will be done. We just refused to leave our things and leave the room. We were persistent. They said it would take about 1 hour. We decided to wait in the lobby. The room was announced after an hour. When we walked out the room, it stinks of tiner/color. It wasn’t like breathing. The bathroom was full of fanfare. If you leave the door open, the stink goes away and we tried to sleep with the lie. I am a migraine patient with a odor-induced disorder. I only changed 10 min in the room. I threw myself on the balcony. My migraine is on. We decided to leave when we knew the scent would not come out that easily. They told us they’d look for another hotel, but all they did was give us the names of the two rooms that were empty. They handed us the door, apologized, and ripped the patch. I’m now lounging at the next hotel with a migraine pain, and it’s 1:30. We had to pay more for a worse room at the next hotel. I just had the migraine pain and time wasted. Absolutely not a Recommendation. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful view. Similar issues were found in the adjacent rooms as well as the bathrooms. It’s the moment you fall into a building room.
We called the night before, booked a room for the next day and paid a deposit. When we arrived at the hotel at 14:00, check-in time, we were told that we could check in but that there were construction in the room. They tried to place us in the only room with a construction worker working in it. He was working in the room due to a problem in the bathroom. They told us we could leave our belongings in the room and leave. We could use the toilet but not the shower. There were going to do sanding, concrete floor filling, painting, you name it. We refused to leave our belongings and leave the room with the construction worker in it. They later gave in and said the process would take 1 hour. We decided to wait in the lobby. After an hour, we were told that the room was ready. When we went up to the room, the room smelled heavily of paint thinner/paint. The fan was working in the bathroom. They tried to lie and convice us that if we leave the room door open, the smell would go away in a short while. Mind you I have migraines and I can get triggered by any smell and this is paint thinner we are talking about. I only got changed for 10 minutes in the room and my migraines started. We decided to leave. They said they would look for another hotel for us, but all they did was to give the names of two hotels with empty rooms. I am now laying in bed in the hotel next door with migraine pain and it is 15.30. I definitely do not recommend this hotel. Do not be fooled by its appearance. The worker gave it away saying there were similar problems in bathrooms of other rooms. It is a matter of time before you get tricked into a room with heavy construction in it. STAY AWAY!

Fantastic hotel.
This was our third time staying at Hotel Begonvil, and it’s been amazing every time. The owners and staff are warm and friendly, and make you feel at home. The sea view from our room was spectacular and sitting on the balcony in the evenings was peaceful. It’s close to the best restaurants in town but far enough away to be quiet at night. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. A real gem.

What a pity !!!
This year, something happened to this hotel where we stayed last year. They have become sullen and "unhelpful", as if the entire business had agreed. I think "getting full" must be like this... One of the reservations I made in May was for "mountain view, not sea view". I think as a punishment for early booking, they reserved the smallest room in the hotel, so two of us had a hard time turning around in the room and fitting into the bed. On the first night, my wife's back stiffened, she could not stop from the pain. We asked for help, saying "Let's move to a larger room, because spending two more nights in this bed with that pain will increase the discomfort even more" and we got the answer "unfortunately". They did not show the slightest empathy. We brought the belongings into the room ourselves and took them out. Fresh bougainvilleas were placed on our bed; But the color of the blanket and towels given had changed from white to black. In short, I will never forgive the hotel owners for giving us such an experience in beautiful Kaş.
