Disappointment
Very insufficient lighting, maintenance of the rooms limit, sheets too small to cover the 2 occupants. An establishment that suffers from comparison with other hotels in the area.

on the outskirts, on busy expressway, okay for 1 night
PRELIMINARY NOTE: I didn’t choose this hotel myself; it was a stop on a packaged Western Turkey trip from Istanbul down to Antalya. I don't know the actual hotel rate for my stay, so I can't really rate value for money.
LAGE: It is located on the outskirts of the small town of Selcuk. Directly on a busy expressway and close to a petrol station. In the center of Selcuk I took about 20 minutes on foot with a comfortable walk. There is little to nothing around the hotel. So if you want to shop or change, you should go to the city. There is also the fortress Selcuk on a hill.
AMENITIES/SERVICE: Reception friendly and straightforward, lobby and public areas make a good impression. Outdoor pool and spa offers I did not use, cannot rate them. Also our tour group was only there for one night, as were the vast majority of guests; the ancient site of Ephesus is just nearby, Selcuk itself is not a tourist place, so the majority comes “only” for Ephesus, and the next day the many buses move on. Wifi is free, fast and stable. There is a bar in the lobby as well as a lounge area. There are two small elevators.The offer for breakfast and dinner is manageable, fundamentally varied and okay for classification according to Turkish national standard. Staff are attentive and friendly.
ROOM: My double room with two single beds for single use was on the 1st floor. Floor – unfortunately out to the street. You can hear the cars, especially when it rains – and it rained. It is single-glazed, and also the window and door frames are very thin, like molded sheet metal. There is no ceiling light, only wall lamps, which makes the room a bit murky. The TV is flat but small. There is no safe, only a very old model with key principle, which lives its useless existence in the run-down closet. There is also no suitcase rack or similar. A lot of scratches on the wall. There is a small outlet, a small fridge and two water bottles of 0.5l on the house. It's also gratifying that there is no carpet; I don't like rooms with carpets. I find that unsanitary. Personally, I found the mattress to be quite hard, but you definitely didn't skimp on the fabric softener for the towels. Bed linen is okay. The rooms a bit noisy.
CONCLUSION: Well, if I had planned to visit Selcuk and then Ephesus myself privately, I would have chosen a hotel in the center. This was, as mentioned, a pre-planned stop. Okay for one night. The areas I saw and used were in good condition, the staff friendly, the food offering okay. If you should stop there, I recommend taking a room to the back, so away from the main road and the buses that stop right outside the door.

The reality
Very sloppy and dirty hotel. The rooms sized fine, but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired, hair on the floor, grimy towels and the bed had no countertop sheet or quilt. There's a duvet in the cupboard with stains on it. In the restaurant, basic food and breakfast and no knives to cut. The group asked for one and gave us one for all. Unbelievable.

Don't stay at this hotel
Bad hotel. Rooms with lots of outside noise. Awkward beds where you don't even have sheets to cover up. Just quilt or duvet without cover. Dirty towels. The mediocre buffet with little variety and poorer quality. The Spa is a scam. They tell you an hour and it doesn't reach 40 minutes. Unprofessional massage therapists. It's not worth it at all.

Dimly lit
I spend a night in this hotel during my tour in Turkey.
Overall experience was ok.
Room space was enough to open my medium size luggage on the floor. Food buffet was ok.
Improvement needed was the bed and bathroom lighting were dimly lit. Even the corridor outside the room was brighter
