My Ugandan Home Away From Home!

Love this place! I have been twice. in 2022, and 2025. We love the staff, Sylvester is the most humble host, and everyone cares so much about your happiness. The owner, Mr. Tilly is a very kind man.THE KITCHEN IS IMMACULATE!! I have worked in it, and I am from America...our kitchens are FAR more to worry about as I have worked in them as well. I am from Florida. If you are going here thinking that it will be like American hotels, why are you leaving America? This is Africa, and more specifically Uganda! They have their own culture, and ways of doing things. So, as an American let me tell you this, in all of Uganda, at restaurants that is, they cook everything to order. It is not Fast Food, It is amazing food! and you will wait for it. I suggest ordering dinner at breakfast time and setting up your dinner time. You will be more happy that way if you do not like waiting. This Mazungu has learned how to be patient, thanks to Ugandans! I go back this summer!!

loverly place for a quiet gateaway

Nice and friendly staff and the whole grilled fish is delicious! Breakfast is awesome especially after a long night out!

Home away from home

This place is a home away from home for my family and I. Been visiting since 2004 to date! The hotel Is clean, friendly staff, pocket friendly and the breakfast is the icing on the cake! especially the sausages!! The view of the nile is refreshing..but as a fanatic of yours, was there this Christmas, the general furniture needs to be upgraded from the eating area to the rooms..other than that Dr&family will always have Paradise at heart!! I think we need royalty points now

Nice simple hotel for a reasonable price

We stayed there on April 2024 for one night. Spacious rooms, bed o.k., furniture simple but o.k., AC, TV, WiFi, bathroom with shower cabin. Room is clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Pool, gym and spa. Payment cash or Visa/Mastercard.

THE HEALTH CLUB NEEDS SOME ATTENTION!!!!!!!!

Visited their health club to use the steam and sauna facilities but was disgusted by the level of cleanliness at this facility. No staff member cared to remove used towels that were littered in bathroom floor and within the hooks in the filthy bathrooms and I don't blame patrons because there was no basket to have these sorted . I had to literally call whoever it was to remove the used wrappers and towels.
No effort was shown to remove soap remains in the bathrooms and the floor was just dirty with water all over the place.
This is not the standard of a hotel in a tourism city.
Unless the Cleanlines issue is sorted, I would not urge any one to use this facility.
Very disappointed.
One other patron shared the same, no customer care in this side of healthclub.
