Gem on the Nile

Had an overnight stay here with a group of friends. I stayed in one of the individual Lodges with views of the Nile, the soothing sounds of the rushing water through the Nile was very relaxing and the accommodation very comfortable. The food in the restaurant, we had an evening meal and breakfast, was well prepared and excellent. Service was excellent with staff going out of their way to meet all our needs. Wi Fi freely available. The views over the Nile can not be beaten.

Gem On the Nile

Had an overnight stay here. Very relaxing atmosphere with views across the Nile. Staff are courteous and helpful. I stayed in one of the lodges, which was comfortable and had all the amenities required. We had an evening meal and breakfast, which was buffet style. A very enjoyable stay

Fabulous stay at the Source of the Nile

A fabulous hotel/resort with unparalleled views over the Source of the Nile. The service was excellent and the staff friendly. Food was good and arrived on time, and if you choose you can eat it outside on the balcony overlooking the Nile watching the birdlife and fishermen busy below. And as a special feature they have a fantastic zipline which takes you alongside and over stretches of the Nile and back. One of us was brave enough! The Speke Monument is in the grounds which are extensive and well maintained. I would strongly recommend it as first choice for anyone visiting Jinja.

Just LOVED this place.❤️

WOW...WHAT A FIND!
We were supposed to stay a couple of nights or more , but unfortunately due to our vehicle breaking down it messed up our schedule and we could only stay on.
We would've LOVED to have stayed a week.
The location, the view, the accommodation, the food the service, (big thanks to the lovely Helen, Nora and Veronica who provided excellent smiling and professional service. Also the young chap who mans the gate and graciously helped us with our bags).
We managed to fit a boat trip to the source of the Nile...such a shame we didn't have time to do the Zipline which is basically right there in the lodge compound, but never mind. Gives us an excuse to return.
This truly is one of the most magical places we've ever stayed.
HIGHLY recommended ❤️

Best honeymoon getaway

The best honeymoon experience ever..
Think of a place with very inviting, professional and extremely creative staff, we were welcomed by the brightest glow of the magnificent river nile. At a clear glimpse of the Source, we feasted on the best fried whole fish in Jinja, with a romantic dinner table setting, overlooking the Nile. Wooow it was top notch!!! You need check out the tented rooms, the restaurant view, the camping sites fully equipped with showrooms, fire places, zip line and sooo much more...
