My stay at Serena Hotel Kampala was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is truly serene—quiet, relaxing, and beautifully surrounded by nature, creating the perfect environment to unwind.
The hygiene standards are outstanding. Without a doubt, this is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Every area, from the rooms to the common spaces, is impeccably maintained, reflecting a genuine commitment to excellence.
The food is another highlight. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and prepared to a very high standard. The swimming pool is spotless, well maintained, and provides a wonderful place to relax.
What truly sets Serena Hotel Kampala apart, however, is the people. The service is exceptional. Every member of staff was warm, professional, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make my stay comfortable and memorable.
If you're looking for a hotel that combines luxury, tranquility, impeccable cleanliness, outstanding dining, and world-class hospitality, Serena Hotel Kampala is an easy choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning. A well-deserved five stars.

The hotel was immaculately clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the spa treatment was enjoyable. The steam room, sauna and gym facilities were also exceptional. I would certainly return.

Serena is expensive but it’s a great spot to “land” when you come to Kampala. The grounds are fantastic, the pool is excellent, and the service is great. Centrally located, high security - a great place to stay when you’re in Kampala.

Absolutely amazing experience at SERENA
I had an absolutely amazing experience at the Serena Kampala Hotel from April 8–13. Words truly cannot describe how professional, warm, and attentive the staff are. From the moment I arrived, everything ran smoothly, and the level of service was outstanding. This is not just a hotel—it genuinely feels like home. In fact, it feels like something more than that.
I would like to give special recognition to Rosemary, who was exceptional. She surprised us with champagne on our wedding night, a gesture that touched us deeply and showed how much care and attention the staff put into their guests’ experiences.
The room cleanliness was immaculate, and the room service, laundry service, and overall comfort exceeded expectations. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast and food selection are excellent, and the pool area is clean and well maintained.
Serena Kampala Hotel truly feels like a resort surrounded by greenery, right in the middle of the city. Every penny is worth it.
