Great Location and Value for the Price

I came to Odesa for business — and unexpectedly found myself on vacation.
Gagarinn Hotel turned out to be the perfect mix of comfort, service, and location.
The room was clean and bright, the breakfast — hearty and fresh. I appreciated the friendly and professional staff — always helpful, never intrusive. The hotel is just a few minutes from the sea, a big shopping mall, and cafes, which made it easy to unwind after work.
One minor downside — soundproofing could be better. But overall, the experience was smooth and relaxing.
If you're in Odesa for work, Gagarinn is a great place to stay — and recharge.

Very bad staying

Very bad service and staff no body help you and bad Curtains in room the sun didn't let me sleep
Nobody wearing the mask waiting a long time in the lift
Nobody answer the phone room service and Reception
The safety box does not work the only good thing is Location near of mall and see

Better on pictures, but quite OK hotel

Bar looks much better on pictures at booking.com, but is OK at the end and staff there is cool ... breakfast is rather narrow with not many options, but OK ...
hotel is clean, receptionists very helpfuland professional...

No WiFi and 12 minute average elevator waits

The elevators, taking an average of 15 timed responses to the button being pressed, was 4.4 minutes. For an elevator. The day of my checkout I had to wait for 12 minutes and ended up taking my luggage down several flights of stairs as the elevator was full and I didn't fancy waiting another 10 minutes+ for the possibility of another full elevator to cause me to miss my flight.
After moving room on the second night due to a sewage smell coming from the bathroom, I though the Wi-Fi might also be better in a different area. I was wrong, and I still had no internet for the entire trip, relying on my phone as a hot spot.
The only decent aspect you could garner from the expirece was reliable housekeeping, but even that's a stretch to suggest a basic hotel service was the best part of the hotel...

Be aware - construction work going on in Gagarinn

There is currently construction work going on inside the hotel, which means that the noises of drilling and other similar will wake you up at 9 in the morning. And they continue with their work til midnight.
It’s more than annoying.
The reception didn’t really provide any solution for that. Which is a pitty.
A nice hotel in a very good location. But no information about the construction work and no reduced prices because of that unconvenience. Disappointed.
