Good Hotel.

Large, beautiful room. Polite staff. Good service. Very tasty breakfasts. The hotel is located in the historical part of the city of Odessa. The stay at the hotel was very pleasant. My wife and I live in the city of Odessa. We wanted to celebrate the New Year in this part of the city. We really enjoyed. We will return to the London Hotel. Thanks to the staff.

No Value for Money – Avoid This Hotel

The hotel itself is a beautiful historic building, but unfortunately the management has failed to maintain the level of service and maintenance such a property deserves. Instead of improving over the years, the overall experience has noticeably declined. During our stay, we encountered several disappointing issues:
* No ventilation in either the bathroom or the room, making the air feel stale.
* The hotel appears to be run by the security staff during the late evening and night, which says a lot about the level of service you can expect after hours.
* Housekeeping did not refill the shower gel unless we specifically requested it, and the staff rarely greeted guests.
* The room had an unpleasant smell, and we even found a spider inside.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the spa. We chose this hotel mainly because of its location and spa facilities, but the reality was completely different. The spa is located in what seems to be an adjoining building, requiring a long walk across a bridge to reach it. More importantly, the hotel appears to have no control over the facility.
During operating hours, children’s swimming lessons were taking place. Two ladies instructors spent the entire time shouting loudly at the children (like old grandma) making it impossible to relax. We came to enjoy a peaceful spa experience, not listen to swimming lessons. Even more surprisingly, the instructors were giving orders and instructions to hotel guests, which is completely inappropriate. That responsibility should belong to the spa administrator, not the trainers. To make matters worse, the sauna was closed because of a power outage, despite the hotel having a generator.
Be prepared for constant noise during your stay. Events are held inside the hotel with loud music echoing throughout the central areas, showing little consideration for guests seeking rest and relaxation.
What disappointed us most was the complete lack of response from management. We raised all of these concerns with the reception team and specifically asked them to inform the management. Throughout our stay, we received neither an apology nor any follow-up. Their silence suggested that these issues are simply accepted rather than addressed.
Unfortunately, this hotel offers poor value for money. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to friends.

Location, location and location! Outstanding Customer Service!

Stayed at the hotel in a Standard Room in September 2021. LOCATION, LOCATION and LOCATION! Fantastic history. Rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and large windows. Absolutely safe and comfortable for solo travellers. The hotel is a little tired, but I like its vintage feeling. In much better condition than many four star hotels in Europe and North America. The hotel is slowly being renovated. New bed linen. Outstanding Reception Service - special Thank You to Anna, Natalia and both Taechka(s). Many thanks to Gennady, the exceptional Restaurant Manager who met me after a 14 hour flight with a plate of hot borscht and fresh Borodinsky bread and a shot of vodka. My holidays were off to a great start. High professionalism and wonderful Odessky sense of humour. It is necessary to note the excellent work of Victoria, the second Restaurant Manager, and Igor, the Bartender. Very helpful, friendly and professional waiter corps. The hotel is geared towards tour groups, workshops and conferences, but is very comfortable and welcoming for individual tourists and visitors alike. Charming 'frontmen' Alexander and Vladimir greet guests in a brand new uniform. Excellent FRESH breakfasts and ample menu items.
My overall feeling was very positive, relaxed and friendly. A couple of suggestions for improving your business: towels need to be changed (very washed out and left a bad impression), and I would recommend placing the room safer higher that where they currently stand (I don’t know what kind of a designer came up with an idea to place a hotel room safe at floor level. Every time I needed to lie down on the dusty floor with a flashlight to use that safe :).)
Would I stay again - YES. Would I recommend it to my friends - YES. The second part of my vacation was spent at Bristol - Krasnaya. Under the same Management. However, this is another absolutely FABULOUS story, which once again confirms the statement on the price and product. You get what you pay for. Thank you ALL for my great vacation in Odessa. Wish you health and prosperity!

Warning if you're driving yourself

Staff was great--helpful and hospitable. Room was large and clean, but it's been a while--decades?--since the decor and furnishings were updated. Didn't use the spa or pool, but the fitness center was solid (note: spa/pool/fitness center aren't part of the hotel proper...accessed by a covered walkway and require a reservation).
All that said, I almost didn't get there in the first place. I was driving my own car. The hotel fronts a restricted-access promenade. None of my navigation apps could get me around some construction that blocked what was apparently the only access point. I finally ignored a "no cars" sign and a couple of security-type dudes and found the hotel, but I'm still not sure what the right route is. Suggest you contact the hotel if you plan on driving yourself.
