Price/Quality

Maranero is a good choice for Odessa, ratio price/quality. Hotel is situated on the third and fourth floor in old industrial building. When you go upstairs you can smell engine oil :) But in hotel and rooms smells good. Clean room with fresh dressing. If your room are located from street side it can be a bit noisy. Breakfast is not rich in buffet style. Hotel is situated not far from the old town, so you can reached there by foot. The hotel is in an ideal position if you are going to Odessa on business and don't want pay a lot.

Very stylish, very funny, very clean, very weird hotel, full of wow factors!

If you are one of those classical hotel clients who expect everything very familiar you may not be satisfied at Marenero Hotel. If you like innovation, creativity, unexpected experiences then this may be one of the right addresses for you in Odessa.
The first surprise starts at the entrance. Although there is a huge Marenero Hotel sign at top of the main door and a quasi-reception but empty desk at the entrance, the "Hotel" exists only in 3th & 4th floors of this multi-storeyed building... Reception is also at the 4th floor. The corridor to the rooms and the walls of the room is decorated stylish designs (in general "heart" shapes with writings) so are the curtains! It sounds an IKEA sample room but all the rooms were designed individually by Italian designers. It is said that the rooms have views to the harbor or the quiet courtyard. But, if you are not so lazy, you must first climb up a stool to be able seeing them through the heightened windows. The restaurant/bar/breakfast room is also within the same style...
Coming to breakfast meals, OMG they are also "designed"! Heart shaped eggs, cookies etc... In general the food they serve is very tasty and fresh so were coffee & tea.
I've learned that Marenero Hotel is belong to Reikartz chain and they have another design hotel (UNI Hotel) very near to famous Deribassivska Street. If I go to Odessa again, I would definitely like to stay there this time.
PS: There was only rain system shower in the bathroom. It's alright, okay. But adding a hand shower head as a second choice would be marvelous!

clean and cozy

we stayed here one night , I find the hotel clean, it was renovated from a factory I guess, rooms are big enough and bathroom is bigger than average hotel rooms.
we stayed at the front view rooms which are a bit noisy because the public transport is passing just in front of the hotel ( the tram ) so if you have sleeping problems I suggest you to stay the backyard looking rooms.
there are English speaking employees however you have to seach for which one is "hot water " button at the breakfast because all labels are Russian , so if you are reading here pls add some English translation to your coffee machines ( hot water / coffee / etc )

Clean but: needs develop!.. New Hotel!

Clean room, breakfast's poor, reception staff sometimes lukewarm, unrest! Design is cosy'n neoarcht.. Budget!.. Bu yeni otel eski bir işyerinin yeni bir tasarımla otel yapılmasıyla oluşturuldu. Resepsiyonda New York un 70lerdeki brooklynşne ve Romaya göndermeler var. Sevimli!

I had a great time.

First of all sorry for a delay with this review! I hope my opinion will bring another brick on the wall of your success :) I spend 5 days in Hotel Marenero in December 2015. The strongest assets of the hotel is its staff! Young and devoted people willing to help and support. I'm referring to both receptionists and restaurant service. Room was clean and well designed. Hotel friendly atmosphere made me feel like spending vacation with family :)
There is only one weak site of the hotel is its surroundings, but hopefully it will change in time.
