Light wood throughout the hostel made for the perfect ambiance given its location in the Carpathian mountains. The hostel is a 5-minute walk from the train/bus station and only a minute or two more to the main part of town. I had a four-person dorm and had it to myself for the four nights I was there. The beauty of off-season travel, I suppose. Plenty of toilets and showers (separate from each other), a super large kitchen, warm interior and room, with an effective heating element. Super comfy mattress and pillow, with crisp white sheets. The hostel is cleaned thoroughly and daily. The restaurant across the parking lot is not only convenient, it is quite tasty with good prices. Staff were a bit impatient with my limited Ukrainian but each meal served did not disappoint. They serve the best banosh ever. Try it! Staff at the hostel didn't speak English but we managed through translation apps and smiles. The staff were kind and helpful, despite communication issues.
No common area at the hostel, just a large kitchen.
No smoking inside the hostel. :-)

DREAM HOSTEL +++++

The best hostel in the Carpathian I think, very clean and new. Very good prices. Reception with high morals + English speaking. You can enjoy your barbecue in the back yard and having dinner in a cottages with different size. Special place for children to play. The place is excellent.
I highly recommend this hostel.

Nice hostel!

Very nice, clean, new. They have double rooms with bath. Girls on reception were very friendly, they were wainting for our arrival late at night, next day we had train also late at night, so left luggage at the room near reception for hole day. Good place to stay to explore the town, surroundings and mountain. The places here are really amazing!!!

Отличное место для недельного проживания в Рахове.

Отличное месторасположение (рядом есть беседки, куда можно заказать еду из кафе по соседству)
Приветливый персонал, готовый помочь.
Довольно чистые номера.
Приятный вид на горы из окна.
Наличие москитной сетки.
Постоянно есть горячая вода.
Минусов, доставивших сильные неудобства лично мне, не обнаружено. Если совсем придраться, то Wi-Fi, который отвалился в последние пару дней пребывания (не по вине работников). С интернет-провайдером были проблемы, насколько мы поняли. И худым могут показаться не очень удобными матрасы. Но на 2-3 ночь привыкаешь.
