⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Experience at Mercure Downtown Abu Dhabi!
We had an event at Mercure Downtown Abu Dhabi last July 25, and it was our first event there after the renovation. We were truly impressed—the newly renovated facilities are beautiful, elegant, and very welcoming. But what made our experience even better was the amazing service from the entire team. ❤️
A special thank you to Ms. Arianne, who assisted us from the booking stage until the event day. She constantly kept us updated, followed up with us, and made sure everything was properly arranged.
Upon our arrival, Ms. Deanna was also very accommodating and helpful. The entire banquet team was attentive throughout the event, always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed.
Special thanks as well to Mr. Tanay for his excellent assistance with the audio-visual requirements.
Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and the dinner buffet was delicious! Our compliments and appreciation to the chefs who prepared the wonderful food that evening. ✨
As an event organizer, it means so much to work with a hotel team that is professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. They made our job easier and helped make our client’s event a success.

Very Disappointing and Poor Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Mercure Hotel Abu Dhabi Downtown, particularly with their Marketing representative, Arianne.
We initially made an inquiry regarding an event booking, but the date we wanted was already reserved by another party. We were therefore advised to wait for almost a month to secure an available date. We were patient and willing to wait because we genuinely wanted to hold our event at the hotel.
On Friday afternoon, Arianne provided us with the quotation. Since it was already Friday and we assumed that the hotel may not be processing payments over the weekend, we decided to make the payment on Monday. We clearly communicated that we were ready to proceed with the payment.
What was extremely disappointing was that, despite our ongoing communication and her continued follow-ups regarding the inquiry, we were later informed that the booking had been given to another third party without informing us beforehand or giving us a reasonable opportunity to complete the payment.
For me, this is not simply about losing a booking. It is about professionalism, communication, and respect for a client's time and commitment. If another party was going to be given priority, we should have been informed clearly so that we could make an informed decision and arrange the payment immediately.
The way this matter was handled by the marketing representative was, in my personal experience, very unprofessional and disappointing. After spending nearly a month waiting and communicating with the hotel, we expected much better customer service and transparency.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering booking an event at Mercure Hotel Abu Dhabi Downtown to make sure that their reservation is formally confirmed in writing and that payment/booking deadlines are clearly established before relying on any verbal or ongoing discussions.

This is a new hotel in excellent condition, located right in the city center. The price is very reasonable, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, making the stay very enjoyable.
The only downside is that the road leading to the hotel is not well marked, and there are not enough signs to guide visitors. As a result, most taxi drivers had difficulty finding the hotel.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here.

Housekeeping service excellent

The hotel is amazing. Rooms are very clean, and the bathroom hygienic, and well-stocked with all the necessary amenities. Hotel lobby is neat and welcoming. Housekeeping service is excellent.
