Our room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated..
We stayed for two nights whilst visiting the surrounding area..
The Purdy Inn is part of the service station on the A1 and although it was on the main road we hardly heard the traffic when in our room.
Slept well the beds were good for us .
The breakfasts were lovely..and the cafe attached to the Purdy Inn offered a good range of refreshments 24hrs .
The staff were really lovely and welcoming both in the Inn and the service station cafe..there was a nice mixture of ages ...We genuinely can't say anything negative about the staff . We had a lovely young man in the cafe of the service station help us with a dog walking area.
Then we had a lovely young lady who served us breakfast 17+ 18th of August .
Lovely lady at reception sorted us out with a shower mat.
Lovely dog friendly and welcoming Inn.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and warm welcome. Nice to have complimentary biscuits along with tea and coffee in the room. Comfortable family room with a lovely view of fields and Bamburgh Castle beyond. Breakfast was superb. Lots of various cereals, fruit, yoghurts, bread to toast and selection of jams plus marmalade. Also great variety of cooked breakfasts. Didn't get chance to sample the main meal restaurant and cafe menus but it all looked very good. Hoping to stay again in September.

Rooms clean. Staff great and breakfast was plentiful, good selection. There was the restaurant where we ate 1 night then the next night ate at their cafe. Both excellent food and staff .

Staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us, breakfast was lovely. Great for kids. Room was perfect for a short stay. Lovely and quiet considering on a main road. Plenty of plugs in room and good facilities. We also took our pooch who was most welcome, We will be back :)

Very clean and comfortable room. The staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting ideas for local beaches and places of interest.
The hotel is very easy to find being at the side of the A1, next door to a petrol station, but any noise from the A1 traffic isn’t that noticeable inside the hotel.
All in all a convenient and comfortable hotel, ideal for breaking up a longer journey. Also a good range of food is available, the breakfast was most enjoyable.
