Calm and quiet location, nice pool for hot days. Big and spacious room. A beautiful part of Wales, amazing for cycling.

Have stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. on request, they provided Vegan and Gluten Free options for my girlfriend for breakfast!

Bay View Hotel

My sister in law and I stayed from the 6th - 10th May, and can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We were made to feel so welcome from checking in to checking out, Dawn and Kev are wonderful hosts, to whom nothing was any trouble. We were given so many recommendations regarding where to eat, how to get around and places to visit, unfortunately five days is not long enough to fit them all in. Our rooms (sunrose and blue poppy) were very comfortable with some lovely, homely touches and the breakfast was enough to keep us going all day until our evening meals. We cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and will definitely be back again.

Relaxing short break

A hidden gem within a short distance of Wisemans Bridge beach
My wife and I arrived for a Monday to Friday short break just last week
On arrival we were greeted by Dawn who made us very welcome and led us to Primrose (our room) which was light, spacious, airy and spotlessly clean, complete with a balcony that overlooked the rear car park, gardens, and upwards toward the outdoor swimming pool
Also in our room to our surprise was a welcome pack of goodies and a complimentary bottle of wine and a litre bottle of water, plus the obligatory welsh cakes, which were delicious and replaced on a daily basis
Dawn took time out to inform us of all the good local eating and drinking establishments and places of interest as were described in the welcome literature
Each morning we were served a substantial breakfast of our choice, prepared and cooked by Kevin, together with a choice of cereals, fruit juices and fresh fruit
If we were allowed one little gripe, it would be the size of the en-suite shower room,
which was small and compact but spotlessly clean, as described by Dawn at the point of booking by telephone
The shower itself, could do with updating, perhaps with an electric shower as there was very little water pressure, and being a large person I could not avoid knocking the temperature control lever which was a bit of a nuisance, but I eventually mastered it
We were offered the use of a larger communal shower room on the ground floor if required, but we managed without having to take up the offer
Bay View is situated in a perfect location, for coastal walks and beautiful blue flag Pembrokeshire beaches and many places of interest to visit
As we were leaving, Dawn presented us with a supply of welsh cakes to nibble on during our long journey home which was much appreciated
All in all we had a fantastic, comfortable and relaxing stay and would have no problem at all recommending this fine establishment to anyone
Thank you Dawn & Kevin for making our stay memorable, we will back........ if you will have us

Wished we could have stayed longer!

This was a very quiet hotel. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated, Lots of choice at breakfast and although we only had one evening meal as the restaurant not always open the meals were delicious. The hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Bay View Hotel Pleasant Valley near Saundersfoot Wales

We had a great week's holiday at Bay View during the heat wave this summer. It was really a 'home from home' and we felt like family thanks to Dawn and Kevin. We all watched the England World Cup football matches together, and they laid on nibbles and scones as we cheered on the team. Pitty about the result.
We had a lovely room with views over the valley and a large bathroom with shower. The room was cleaned every day and shortbread biscuits and Welsh cakes were left for us. The breakfasts were great with lots of choice - Kevin made really good scrambled eggs.
There is a bar for drinks and and Kevin makes a really good cappuccino. There is a swimming pool in a quiet location at the back. Great at the end of a busy day.
Dawn and Kevin are very helpful regarding where to eat and places to visit.
There is a lovely walk down the valley to Wisemans Bridge by the sea where there is a great pub with plenty of outside seating and serving meals. There is also a wonderful walk along a pathway by the sea from Wisemans Bridge to Saudersfoot going through three tunnels where the cliffs protrude across the path.
Tenby is not far away by car and beyond that there is plenty to see including Barafundle Bay.
