Worth a 4 hour round trip for a Sunday lunch!

We had a lovely stay here a few years ago and have often spoken of the wonderful Sunday lunch. At the weekend we were in the mood for a tasty Sunday lunch and regardless of a 4 hour drive, we booked to dine! On arrival we were told that they were new owners since then - that could have been an issue. Indeed not - the carvery was as exceptional as we had remembered. Delicious meat, huge range of 'just prepared' veg, perfect Yorkshire Puds. Wonderful service too. We will certainly be back :)

Very friendly staff food excellent. Stayed in room 2 room was lovely very comfortable bed. Can’t wait to return soon

Needs better music

Just been to this place for a meal and drink. Food very nice but music left a lot to be desired: most people were 50+ but the music was 18s..ish.
Please play to your audience BB. Otherwise a good experience

Lovely all round experience

Lovely all round experience. Visited mid week in great weather, for lunch on our wedding anniversary. We were met by very welcoming and helpful staff who served us an excellent pub meal, featuring nice touches including use of local produce. It was a thoroughly enjoyable time in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. So much so, that we left determined to return and stay for a short break in the future. Fenny Bentley provides an excellent base from which to explore the National Park.

First visit but not the last

Had a lovely stay at the Bentley Brook
All staff made us welcome .
We both had a Ribeye steak cooked to perfection, the best we have had, complements to the chef.
Our dog Bella was made welcome and a sausage treat in the mornings.
Our first visit but not the last.
