Relaxing dog friendly break.

Stayed at The Flying Horse on 11th & 12th March for two nights and we had the best time.
We had one of the stable rooms as we had our two dogs with us and it was clean, comfortable, warm and had everything you could want including fresh milk, tea and coffee for the cafetiere and the bed was so comfortable.
The menu offered a varied selection of dishes including vegetarian offerings and the food was delicious and plentiful and breakfast was the same with a great hot selection plus cold meats, cheese and warm croissants.
There is also a substantial wine list of which we sampled a few of the wonderful reds.
The staff, Victoria, Emma and the rest of the guys really couldn't do enough for us making the stay even more memorable and of course not forgetting Toby the resident Romanian Rescue who after an initial stand off with our two Romanian Rescues got on really well with them.
Over all it was probably the best dog friendly break we have had and whilst there are great walks nearby there is a large beautifuly kept garden which our dogs loved.
Try a break here as you won't be disappointed and we shall definitely be back in the summer.

Excellent Pub with excellent clean hotel accommodation, the staff were faultless and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Truly a dog friendly pub with the canines treated as guests as well as the owners. We'll be back.

Lovely meal

Went in February for my husbands 70th birthday and had a fabulous meal with brilliant service. Will definitely love to come again. Nothing was too much trouble and there was so much on the menu to choose from. Thank you for making this an excellent celebration.

Little Gem

Outstanding is the only word to describe this place , such a welcome soon as you set foot in the door , attention to detail in many ways , we and our cairn were made so welcome , the food is amazing and plentiful ! Brodie the dog was given a sausage for breakfast as well as a plate of biscuits at dinner ! We have booked a return in May.
