Needed a change to the floor level allocated due to mobility issues & this was done with no issues.Chatted to the business owners Amy & Matthew who were incredibly welcoming of both locals and visitors to the area.Will stay here again.

Crippled lion

A hotel for a city like this is big. Located in the center. There's free parking in the backyard.
The building has strange architecture and you have to walk to the room through some strange set of corridors and doors.
The room appears to be nice, spacious and clean. Started turning on the lamp, the plafon fell off. Turned on the toilet lights, there was a terrible grinding of the exhaust fan. Figured out a place to slip the paper so it wouldn't grind so hard. We started bathing - it turned out the drain was full and after three minutes the shower water flooded the floor. A sink with two taps is torture.
While moving around the room, the floor creaks. All of it! The doors squeak. Windows too. You can hear the neighbors and how they walk.
I liked the £10 breakfast. WiFi is normal.
In general, the hotel has style. But it's time to repair it.

The room was clean and the only complaint I have is that both times I have stayed in two separate rooms the mattress needed changing you could feel the springs and it made noise every time I turned over
The food was great in the we’ve big but I have had better breakfasts

Spacious room and great price. Ample parking but can park on street park. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean but needs repainting. Would stay again.

So easy to find, such helpful staff. Lovely room and bathroom, we really enjoyed our stay however the shower did have troubles with draining the water which we have mentioned to staff. But overall such a lovely stay.
