One of the best places I've ever stayed

We had a wonderful view for a reasonable price, with easy access to the back garden (which also had a rabbit!). There were lovely views of the sea from our window. Upon arriving, we were met by the wonderful canine front-of-house staff member Molly (who was very welcoming and happy to see us). Check-in was really easy, and Mark and Liz were really friendly, and offered us great "insider advice," on where to go, how to save money, etc. When we went to Rathlin Island, Mark actually lent us his binoculars so we could get a good view of the puffins. They were also very accommodating, as I am vegan, and they did a very good job of making vegan breakfasts for us. I did have some issues getting the shower to a decent temperature, the Wi-Fi wasn't always great for watching videos, and it was sometimes a bit noisy upstairs (lots of floorboards creaking when people moved around, etc.), but it was still wonderful, and undoubtedly one of the best places I've ever stayed.

Incredible 3 night stay

My wife and I stayed 3 nights while on a Hillwalk tour. The room was very comfortable, clean and well decorated. The hosts Liz and Mark made us feel right at home. Breakfast was excellent each day. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful B&B

My husband and I really enjoyed our three nights here. Mark and Liz are great hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The house is beautiful and our room was spacious and clean. The location in town is perfect. Wonderful breakfast

Personable hosts and an unforgettable stay

Mark Herald, his wife Liz and daughter Rachel are outstanding hosts. My sister and I stayed there for 3 nights while on a hiking trip. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, convenient and charming In addition to outstanding service, Mark generously shares plenty of good advice on local eateries and amenities. Molly the golden retriever, Gatsby the Rabbit, and Wee Arthur the miniature horse were all friendly sidekicks as well. I hope to go back to Ballycastle someday, perhaps for the Lammas Fair, and I'll definitely try to book at the Old Manse well in advance.

Lovely B&B

We had a great 2-night stay at the Old Manse. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The proprietors were friendly and very informative and made us a great breakfast. The B&B is in a perfect location for exploring Ballycastle and the surrounding area.
