Amazing workers and atmosphere <3
the atmosphere was amazing, the workers made me feel like i was at home (especially the lady called chloe she was really nice) Would recomend

Poor poor poor
I had booked No 17 for a birthday treat for my partner, and on first appearances the room (No2) looked very nice.
Considering the money the room actually cost and the fact there was no breakfast included, the complimentary tray in the room was pathetic and downright mean, a few sachets of coffee and sachets of milk in the fridge. one of the cups had a huge chip in it and the fact that it was left to be used again, say a lot about the whole place.
The bedding was tired, the duvet was lumpy and full of yellow sweat stains, the duvet cover was devoid of buttons and had a faded stain on it. I was disgusted by the pile of filth under the bed as the photos will show. The shower was fine, apart from the fact the water trap was obviously blocked as the water overflowed and ran towards the door, which created a slipping hazard. The fittings around the curtain tie backs were hanging out of the wall, the bathroom was like a cramped little cuboard. The whole place needs a rethink, revamp, from the ground up! The sad conclusion is, whoever is involved in the running of this beautiful old house, needs to give their head a wobble and start again.

Upmarket Youth Hostel feel to this place
Very disappointing stay here. There was a broken curtain rod in the corner of the room. The tv is too small to watch from the bed, you had to sit in the small couch at the bottom of the bed to watch it. Shower is uncomfortable to get in and out of and the water temps difficult to get right. Info book in the room was just a piece of paper with bare minimum info. Walking in to the hall there is clutter about, going upstairs you are met with the vacuum cleaner and a few rolls of toilet paper. This is more of an upmarket youth hostel. It’s a shame as it could be nice if the owners cared. Would not recomment, other place in Bath are available.

Hello, for context in relation to this review the room has a 40 inch flat screen tv , gold leaf 4 poster bed, a marble fire place and velvet curtains.
Whilst it maybe the case that you (specifically) are unable to watch tv unless your literally directly in front of it, most people should be fine as it’s quite sizeable, attached to the wall and as such visible from almost any where in the room, similarly we feel that the room has features that you wouldn’t find in youth hostels.
We wish you all the best with your stays elsewhere - youth hostels perhaps..

A great base for visiting Bath
We were very lucky to have found this accommodation. It has everything we needed for a short stay and couldn’t be in a better position for visiting Bath on foot without the hassle of trying to find somewhere to park. In addition our room had a wonderful view across playing fields to Bath Abbey. Our large room had a king bed which was very comfortable and a well equipped small bathroom. Excellent value for money too.

Dissatisfied Stay
The TV didn't work , there was no heating in the toilet (freezing cold), the maintenance person couldn't fix either.
On the last night the toilet was pouring water down the overflow.
The room looked good but disappointed us,
It was the same for 3 Days.
I thought it had a microwave in the picture, but that was not really an issue.
