TLC needed

On arriving at the stuart hotel in Blackpool.
We arrived just after 1400. There was a piece of paper saying check in was at 3pm. You can park your car on the carpark.
Then a young girl said hello. I said we had a room booked. You cant check in till 3. I said ok we can have a drink at the bar and wait.
The bar is not open. She replied. The bar staff is not here and i have things i need to do she said.
I told my husband you cant get a drink.
She then said i can get you a drink.
A young man came out then. The seating was cosy. Christmas decorations still up everywhere.
£4.80 for a pint of carling. Bought 2 packets of crisips that were weeks ou t of date. Dirty wine glass.
We got help with the wifi.
We got our key to room 19.
As others have said about the blind at night. The street light shines through.
As also under the door from the landing.
There is dust in a few places. Top of wardrbe. Top of tv. Mirror.
Cups and kettle were nice. Coffee and milk provided very poor. Could not drink it.
Bed was ok. Never going to be a luxury matress at this price.
Breakfast is only served 8 till 9.
I think they only cook so much for each guest. Sausages were crap.
Bacon not cooked properly. Toffee yoghurts.
White bread only. No brown.
Landings do need attention. Dont no if the doors to the rooms are fire doors they look very old. Tlc needed there.
Bar was shut and in darkness at 8.30 last night. Good job we bought our own.
To be fair the room was ok. Colours matched.
The tv can be moved
No hair dryer or anythink like that.
Towels were lovely quality.
Bedding was fresh and clean.
It really does lack hospitality and a good vibe. Ashame really
But we tried it.

The hotel isnt clean enough.it needs a good clean.skirting boards, getting the hoover into corners, cleaning dirty finger prints of glass ect.would look fine if it was painted.the walls are to dirty. The carpets look old.funny smell apone entering. The guy on the desk was nice and pleasent.showing us to our room. The beds looked clean, though we never checked under the covers. The bath, shower and toilet were very clean though the toilet seat was hanging off.Again the skirting boards in the room were not clean and the walls need a good wash down .we both knew we wouldnt be happy staying there so we didnt. We left straight away and booked in someware else. This hotel has great potential. It just needs to be painted and kept clean to a high standard.I wasted my hard earned money booking this but the hotel reminds me of a homeless hostal.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

It is NOTHING like the pictures. The entire building is falling apart and should be condemned.
The first room STANK like DAMP ROT and SEWAGE even after opening the windows for a few hours. FILTHY - stains on walls and floors. NO TOWELS. HALF A ROLL OF TOILET PAPER. Thin, uncomfortable mattress. Walls and floors so severely bowed that the bathroom door couldn't be closed - VISIBLE STRUCTURAL DAMAGE throughout the entire hotel. NOT SAFE.
The other room had a window frame literally detaching from the brickwork - the wind was SO LOUD through the cracks it sounded like a MOTORBIKE was revving outside. HUGE CRACKS snaking up the walls. Bathroom door had a hole kicked into it.
Then, after listening to a child SCREAM and run and STOMP around for hours through the 3" gap under my door until 9PM, I had enough and booked another hotel.
Staff were polite but lied and cheated me out of a refund despite not staying a single night. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

AVOID THEY LIE AND SELL YOUR BOOKED ROOM FOR MORE MONEY

Booked through booking.com arrived early around 11am to be told our room wasn’t ready as was being cleaned told to come back after 3pm.
We were on our way back to the hotel around 5.25 pm when we had a phone call telling us that booking.com had double booked our room which we later found out it was the hotel who had sold it to someone else for more money.
We continued to the hotel to speak to the management who were very dismissive and uninterested even though they had left us late in the day with nowhere to stay absolutely disgusting.
