Cosy clean B&B

The B&B was excellently located next to Blyth Port where I was working.
- Breakfast was excellent,
- The room was cosy and very clean.
- The shared bathroom was clean, overall excellent.
There is also a bar downstairs which is convenient for a drink after work.

Bad enough that we left a day early

Rooms above a pub. Uncomfortable atmosphere. And it got worse 1,Parking is actually any space you can find on the road. 2,The shower drain was blocked. Unusable! 3, The bed was not good. I went and bought pillows. We left early and booked in somewhere else.

Not for me

Tiny room with broken telly I think j may have originally been the hallway! No on suite ! I had to pay £10 to “upgrade “ to a room with working telly! The lady who runs it was lovely but it’s not somewhere I’d go again it was beyond basic!! Made Blackpool guesthouse look like the Ritz!! But to end on a positive note the bed I slept in was comfy and clean!

Very misleading.

Booked this hotel costing £170 for 2 nights. Very misleading as when I arrived at the b&b I asked about the breakfast. She explained that the breakfast wasn't included. Very misleading. 1st night we were freezing cold as their was no quilts on the beds. No heating on in the room. The room it's self was very dated . As for the sea view you need binoculars to see it. Extremely disappointed.

A short break

The breakfast was lovely but in our room the radiator wasn't working no heat told the staff she said it's on now but northing it was freezing I had to go to bed with my cloths and a jacket to keep warm I spoke to a couple stopping there and there heating was fine the staff should of sorted this problem out it's ridiculous that you have no heat in a room
