Stayed in the Super Beautiful Apartment

This is the second time we've stayed here. This time we were lucky enough to stay in one of the brand new holiday let apartments that sleeps 4 ppl. A really high quality apartment with luxury fitaments, luxury kitchen, walk in wardrobe and dressing area. Full ensuite bathroom with large bath and shower and a separate toilet and utility area off the lounge area. Whereas the b&b rooms are more functional and ideal for a central stopover this apartment is fantastic and suitable for a wide range of guests including professionals working in the area. Well worth paying the extra for a really fab apartment.

Good Value Stay

We were just staying for one night. I'd read some of the reviews and wasn't expecting much but think that the bad reviews for this place are unjustified. Yes you enter the property by the back gate and stairs which isn't the most flattering view of the property but not an issue, more difficult with small kids or the elderly of course. You can park right outside for free and it's less than a 5 min walk to the centre of town. The room itself was large, clean with flat screen TV, WiFi and tea and coffee. Bed was ok, mattress not the best but fine for one night, slept well. Breakfast is continental, it's fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, orange juice, cereal, crumpets, small croissants etc. It's basically a little help yourself station. The two things they could do better, a little eating area for breakfast and to get rid of some marks on the bedroom wall. I believe that they are currently decorating so may be on course to do this. Overall for £50 it met my expectations and I would stay again. If you are staying here please don't expect the Ritz for budget prices. This place is comfy and fine for what we needed, breakfast was nice. It would definitely be better to enter the b&b through the front door if possible.

Great find

Very welcoming host who had no issue with us having our 5 Beagles in our room. Lovely and clean room and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was self service continental style but with a good variety of choices. Car parking plentiful. Great chinese nearby and a handy newsagent across the road too. Lovely peaceful area but still within easy reach of facilities.

Superb Holiday Break with dogs

Had the best room in the place! with the most unusual triangular shape in the corner - meaning we got two windows. Fresh airy contemporary colours throughout out . Simple style. Varied selection of items to eat from fresh fruit to naughty snacks. Quiet because it is above a residence. Short walk to everything you could want. Sandy beaches with cafes and restaurants and shops in general surround. Interesting quayside boardwalks and some very interesting vessels around. Also two fabulousparks. Dog beach too. Interesting structures to walk around. Overall made having a break there remarkably easy and relaxing.

I'll be back...

2nd time staying here and I have no complaints at all. Good size rooms, all the facilities that I need. Towels, rooms, showers and toilets are all clean. A help yourself breakfast selection, kettle, tea and coffee in room. Nice owner and the dogs are lovely. The owner is currently doing construction to the lower floor, and doing a grand job from what I have seen. No noise at all. And no fleas. Really don't know why the other guests are leaving bad reviews. It's not the Hilton it's a b&b, but it's a good b&b. Definitely stay here again.
