I stayed here as i was visiting RAF LAKENHEATH for plane photography and the Inn was literally just down the road

The room was big with a lovely comfortable twin bed. I paid £70 and expected a single.room but got it bumped up to.a double for free.
The shower was lovely and spacious and the aminities in the room were perfect.
Also being a building from the 14th century i was relieved to.discover that there were no ghosts to ruin my nights kip!

Dont stay

Booked in at the ram expecting to stay in the ram its self turned out we were in the place across the road (brandon house) paying £140 was definitely not worth it nothing in the room only one towel for two of us. No wifi even through the tv is a roku so could use any of the streaming apps only live tv. Plain white room with no decoration. Small kettle just placed on a ledge two cups only one spoon. Never saw anyone until second day which we did get another towel but after that never saw anyone again, no fan even though it was hot amd stuffy in the room. No sound proofing so you can hear all the traffic all the time. Would rather pay more to actually stay somewhere that knows how to provide what guest actually need/want without having to ask. Definitely won't stay again

Awful place to stay

Mis sold as room wasn't in Ram Inn, was over the road at Brandon Hotel. Awful place.
Room is stark & dreary, no pictures hung
Like staying in a hostel
Dirty windows, that don't close
Cob webs everywhere especially on windows, around bed, spiders in corners of room
Large cracks in wall that look structural
No soundproofing - woken at 6 every morning, next door showering
Bedding dark & dreary, not clean looking, stain on top
No suitcase rack
No furniture to put the kettle on
Nothing in bathroom to put washing bags on
One towel for 2 people and that was dirty

Never again - even if you paid for me!

Terrible. The room was filthy, the carpet had probably never been hoovered let alone cleaned, the teaspoon in the coffee cups was unwashed after the last person used it for coffee and, worst of all, the toilet had been very used and left unflushed! It was £70 without breakfast. The noise from the bar went on till late and we were woken at 5am by people accessing the cupboard next to our room. Seriously - just stay somewhere else!

Good value in a building with character

Good value stay. My partner, me and our teenage son stayed overnight. Nice big room. Old building with lots of character. Handy for Brandon and for Thetford Forest. Our room was away from the bar so it was peaceful
