For a delightful and peaceful stay in the countryside

Just two bedrooms and ours was very good. Pleasant to sit in, with chairs, small table, d-i-y tea and coffee etc. The bathroom had everything required although the shower cabinet was a bit 'cosy'. The view from the window was open countryside which added to the calmness.
Comfortable bed although I would prefer a firmer mattress. Excellent staff anf car parking just over the road. A lovely continental breakfast served in the bar.
There is no lift and the stairs have one corner and then are fairly small so check if you have mobility problems.

Already reviewed The Foxham as we stayed bed and breakfast for two nights. When I booked understood the Bed and Breakfast ment Bed and Breakfast not Bed and £15 supplement for English Breakfast.

Exceptional

The stay we spent here in this quiet location was exceptional in every respect. Everything in the room and all the facilities were of a high standard. The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and courteous. The restaurant, too, offers excellent food at a reasonable price. We would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it unconditionally.

A wonderful stay, delightful evening meals, and after finding out I would be leaving before breakfast each morning they provided a selection of fruit, pastries, and fruit juice as a “breakfast bag” each day.
