Breakfast was incredible Lisa who served us was so professional and helpful.
We would definitely recommend staying here.
The rooms have everything you need.
We didn’t eat apart from the breakfast but the food smelt incredible and many local people recommended it to us!

I pleasant country pub with friendly staff and excellent food. The room was clean and comfortable. The porridge at breakfast was superb.

First time staying. we stayed for 2 nights I must say all staff are really friendly and helpful Shaun and Katie were lovely host nothing was to much trouble fab breakfast.
I would definitely stay again.

Impressed

As we were staying nearby, we decided to give The Oakwheel a try. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were impressed with the quality of the food. The steak pies in particular were really good. It proved to be a most enjoyable visit.

Our stay at the Oak Wheel was very pleasurable and the breakfast was superb! Although we didn't use the bar on this occasion, the staff were very helpful and polite and the complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits in our room were much appreciated!..
One slight nit-pick is that it was noticed on top of the headboard in our room, it had a gathering of dust on top, which may be a constant overlook by the cleaner and may irritate any allergy sufferers.
That aside, the overall experience at the Oak Wheel was very satisfactory and we wouldn't hesitate in staying here again when in the area.
