A truly wonderful dinning experience

This lovely hotel is local to me, we never regarded it as a place to have an evening meal! However our experience here was nothing short of wonderful! With its lovely welcoming & friendly staff and superb food made our evening. We were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary and the staff made it even more special with kind gestures such as a hand written congratulations card on our table and sweet treat wishing us a happy anniversary. It’s so nice and relaxing atmosphere. Lovely place and brilliant staff! Long may they prosper.

Wonderful stay

Our stay here exceeded all expectations. We had an executive room which was worth the extra. It was spacious and spotlessly clean & so peaceful.
The staff were very helpful,friendly and professional. Big shout out to Rob & Marc who served us with excellence in the restaurant. They were incredibly knowledgeable with their wines and their recommendations were spot on. The food was cooked to perfection & we thoroughly enjoyed it. There are some lovely walks around the grounds which was a bonus. We would recommend this lovely hotel in a beautiful location.

Birthday lunch

Birthday lunch last weekend. As always well looked after. Excellent food and warm and friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings to celebrate in.

Give the cream tea a miss !

Had a cream tea with my partner . At £45 each it was very poor value with the poorly filled sandwiches bread going hard before they could be eaten . The scones were good , but that was it .

Fabulous champagne afternoon tea

So….
I could tell you about the magnificent building so tastefully classy….
Or the immaculate grounds…..
Or the fabulous champagne afternoon tea my friends and I enjoyed with gorgeous sweet treats made by chef….
But all I really want to talk about (and what keeps me coming back time and again) is Marc.
Marc is a total superstar. For me, he is Buxted. He allowed us to sit in the old dining room (which was air conditioned) which felt like a lovely intimate setting for four old friends to catch up. He was attentive, humorous and above all, exceedingly charming! We all love him!
