A very pleasant hotel

The Lemon Tree Hotel is set in a lovely building. I stayed in the upstairs room number five which had a comfortable double bed and a well appointed ensuite with shower. There was ample storage space for clothes. There was tea, coffee and bottled water in the room which was a nice touch. The room was very warm - perhaps a bit too warm if anything. There was a delightful view of someone's back yard too. I booked "room only" but elected to pay extra for breakfast. It should be noted that the breakfast was more of a "cafe style" arrangement. In other words, you are given a menu containing individually priced items. I had the full Welsh breakfast and a pot of tea. It was very good and served with a smile. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Wrexham General Railway Station and about 15 minutes walk to The Racecourse Ground. Overall I had a very pleasant stay and would certainly return one day.

Loved our second stay at The Lemon Tree. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and it is the most amazing breakfast! Be sure to book it for your stay! We look forward to returning.

Lovely room, fantastic value and excellent staff. Short walk into town with parking included, would definitely stay again!

Excellence with a wrinkle!

The only issue was a fairly weak WiFi 'in the room'. Down in the lobby totally fine but any attempts to upload large files or work in that way was basically difficult 'up in the room'.
