Proper Country Pub

Stumbled across this gem of a pub, whilst out for a mystery drive this evening. Lovely food & really friendly staff, would highly recommend..

Country Inn well worth a visit.

Country setting, very quiet lovely inn.
Stayed one night in a lovely well furnished room, bed comfy and such a beautiful bathroom as well as the toiletries.
Had evening meal in the restaurant with very good choice and good price.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant with all you want to start your day.
But please owner why do you not have small milk jugs and sugar bowls on the tables as the morning of our visit there were seniors which wasn't convenient getting up and down when you required milk and sugar. The only negative point. Everything else was good. Would certainly return if in this area.

Comfortable stay in lovely location

An excellent overnight stay to break up a long journey. Lovely comfortable room. Immaculate with some lovely extras. Very welcoming staff. We ate in the restaurant and the food and choice were both great. A really varied and interesting menu.
Fantastic breakfast in the morning. Lovely rural location with easy access to M6.

Not coming back

Very quiet,menu unimpressive badly laid out
Had fish and chips pretty mediocre,£19 expensive
Mrs had a meal on a bread but this was soggy
Very disappointing as this is such a nice area

5 out of 5 would recommend

Stayed for one night whilst visiting friends in the area. The room we'd booked was really comfortable and well decorated.
Three of us ate in the restaurant in the evening and all the meals we had were excellent (the menu was different to the one online) and the full English in the morning was the best I've had in a long time.
They had a good bar with three real ales on hand pump and decent beer garden. The staff were fantastic as well.
I'd thoroughly recommend it if you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area.
