This hotel is fabulous and would highly recommend. The hotel is modern, exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are extremely comfortable. In the restaurant the food is extremely tasty with extra large portions. I would highly recommend a stay here

Lovely food

We stopped off for lunch and had an exceptionally nice meal. We had expected a carvery which they no longer do on a Sunday but there’s a good menu with really great quality food and decent portions. The service from Janet was excellent.

Comfortable stay with nice food

Castletown Hotel has lovely Scottish staff has a nice selection of well cooked food and a small bar.
Would suggest you need a car to stay as the town itself is restricted to a couple of shops. Having said that the day we were there the weather was nice so a stroll to the local beach and flag stone quarry relics and tourist centre were really enjoyable.
