One night sporadic stay - would recommend

Pleasant stay for one night , food was great, room very clean although the mattress was too firm for me so not the best sleep
Staff friendly , chilled atmosphere and easy to get back on the road again

Perfect Sunday Lunch

Super delicious Sunday lunch, availble in different sizes. Herb roasted pots, creamy mash, seasonal veg, a perfect Yorkshire pudding and beef to my own, well done preference.
Absolutely delectable elderflower spritz to accompany my meal.
Friendly yet proficient service and all in a characterful setting. Loved every bit of it.
(Sadly the next day I had a very long wait for my cocktail of 15/20 minutes, which the day before had taken 5 minutes to arrive)
My review is based on the first experience as I hope the second was a one off.

Beautiful Country Stay

What a beautiful place to stay. I stayed in one of the cottage rooms. Peaceful, spacious and a lovely place to sit in the sunshine with a glass of wine. I had dinner, which was excellent, as was breakfast. The young staff team are really friendly and helpful, and I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful village inn

Had 2 nights here - lovely room, great staff -appreciated the little touches like good quality tea and coffee in room, fan, robes etc and the complementary cake at 4 pm. Restaurant is very good - great food and wine - we will be back.
