A lovely stop over with our dog. Room was fine and bed comfy. Ensuite bathroom was also fine and clean. Food in the pub was good and fresh especially the breakfast.
Dog given a sausage which he was very greatful for.

Beware of service charges

Lovely pub in a nice setting. Disappointed on receiving bill to find service charge had been added. Was not made aware beforehand. With this in mind, doubtful we will ever return

Great pub with comfortable rooms and good food 20 mins from airport.

My second stay at this very pleasant and quiet pub (part of the small Butcombe chain) just 20 mins from Bristol airport. My room (there are just 2) was super comfortable with fresh coffee, biscuits and staff kindly brought me fresh milk in a thermos. A freshly-cooked full English was included in the morning.
Dinner was good with excellent service and for the quality I thought prices were fair.
It was notable that staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was pleasant but was not serviced on second day. Cooked breakfast was reasonable but there was no cereal to start with nor toast and jam to follow. One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive. Overall we were not unhappy but would not have wanted to stay for a third night and would be question if we would use this chain again if this is typical of all their venues.

Thoroughly recommend this lovely pub.

Lovely stay with very helpful friendly staff.
Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and impressed with coffee.
Breakfast excellent and nice large carpark.
We should have booked in before dragging all our luggage through and into pub though as entry into room was from the carpark
Wifi and internet pretty bad - hopefully by our next visit they will have set up a wifi booster!
Thoroughly recommend staying here. ⭐️
