Amazing, Extraordinary B&B

Lovely large room with original period furniture. The ensuite with bath and separate shower was almost as large as the bedroom!
The rest of the house was full of character with interesting paintings and antiques throughout and a well stocked library. The Hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive, serving us in person at the table, despite one having a recently dislocated shoulder. The breakfast menu was extensive and evening meals delicious -both worthy of a 5 star hotel. We had, only paid for B&B and normally, I would have been thinking --what's the bill for the dinner going to be? Well I was so impressed on day one, I did not care and was pleasantly surprised on checkoutHighly recommended.

Gorgeous place to stay!

We were met by the lovely owners and their two spaniels, as we drove into the car park. Then shown to our gorgeous room and invited to tea and scones in the lounge. The owners had great local knowledge and advised of a nice place to eat as we wanted to venture out. Breakfast was at whatever time we wanted it and the choice was vast and locally sourced. Had a really nice time and if ever visiting Malvern again would definitely stay again.

A delightful experience

We’ve just returned home from a ten-day stay at The Old Rectory in Cradley,
Herefordshire. Our hosts, Claire and John, in their beautiful home, made us so
welcome, with a large and lovely en-suite bedroom with a stunning view.
We couldn’t have been more comfortable. Their home is full of very
interesting artworks, including Claire’s own stunning paintings.
Above all, was the warmth of their hospitality, and, the superb breakfasts and
suppers each and every day were an enormous treat and enjoyment.
Within easy reach of the Malverns and some lovely NT houses and gardens, it
was the perfect retreat. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. A total ten-out-of-ten!

Small Family Wedding

Small family wedding celebration, held at Malvern Registry Office, Two nights stay at this glorious property. The happy couple, both sets of parents, one pair of best friends, brothers and sisters and all their offspring, all staying here extremely comfortably. A thoroughly wonderful experience due to the hosts Claire and John, who couldn't do enough for us. My daughter held her wedding celebration here, and nothing went wrong, everyone was thoroughly impressed with the standard and attention to detail. The food was superb, couldn't fault anything. The china and table settings were beautiful. The adults ate in the main dining room, whilst the children at in the smaller adjoining dining room, so everyone happy.
Claire went out of her way to help the actual day go smoothly, ensuring the bride could concentrate on all the special stuff relative to her preparations. Claire and John were genuinley delighted for the happy couple, and helped a wonderful occasion go off without a hitch.
If you want a beautifully located venue, and want to trust in the standard of cuisine and quality of service, you will not be disappointed. I cannot praise it enough, it was truly wonderful.
