A fabulous stay in a lovely modernised pub in the quiet coastal village of Overstrand. Ideal for touring the stunning Norfolk Coast and Broads with plenty of roadside parking. A good choice of breakfasts cooked to order. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Large well furnished en-suite room, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Great value for money for the quality of the accommodation. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our brief stay at the White Horse.
We only stayed here to sleep and have our breakfast first thing in the morning, so we were not at the property for especially long. The staff was friendly upon arrival, who showed us to our room and gave us the times for breakfast and checking out the next day. We slept quite well, the shower was good and our breakfast was great — that’s all the things we look for during a short break!

Stayed in one of the two refurbished rooms and found nothing to fault.
Very nicely executed upgrade and better than most of the hotels I have stayed in Norfolk.
Well done.
Good breakfast and genuinely dog friendly with polite dogs and their owners.
All in all a great night away.

Best Sunday Lunch

Best Sunday Lunch , went to the White Horse in Overstrand today, have to say, it is up there with the best We have ever had, went with the wife and we both ordered the roast beef, it came beautifully cooked medium rare, with huge Yorkshire pudding, obviously home made, large and crispy, accompanied by roast potatoes, red cabbage, carrots, cauliflower cheese and green beans, all cooked to perfection, our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable and recommended the crispy chocolate brownie for dessert and it was absolutely delicious, the whole experience was a wonderful one and we will most definitely be returning, next time we are in the Cromer area, would like to thank everyone at the White horse for a wonderful culinary experience, absolutely 5 star experience.

Good location, staff friendly and helpful. Sunday lunch was excellent. Good choice of breakfast items well served.
