Lovely fluffy towels, nice shampoos etc, comfy bed, friendly efficient manager. One omission was no light bulb in one of the bedside lights, so they get 4 stars from me rather than five.

Staff are great and the evening meal was tasty. Local also friendly and the bar was as expected from a pub with rooms.
But, when did a continental breakfast stop having cold meats and cheese.
The room was small and ok but nowhere to work. TV small for the room and stopped responding to the remote and not a lot of room in the bathroom.
The bed was comfortable and plenty of parking.
Overall, it was OK but overpriced.

Check-in was quick and easy, less than 5 minutes between checking in and opening the door to my room.
My room was very warm, partially down to the warm summer weather, but also coupled with the distinct food/deep fryer smell, I suspect also due to it's proximity to the Hotel/Bar's kitchen. These things cant be help. The room did have a small fan, which was appreciated.
The bed was comfy and the bathroom spacious.

The water was hot but the shower rail was coming off the wall. The room is tiny and very hot, this wasn't helped by the plastic covered pillows.
It was an effort to get in as ghe door to the room stuck badly.
There was an efficient but not a warm welcome and please read the small print as breakfast is only toast, cereal and pastries.

Lovely little room, only stayed one night, bed was comfy coffee and tea in room, bathroom was small but had everything you need. Only thing I would suggest is aircon, but given it's not a necessity considering the UK
