Plush, comfy, mixed-dorm beds and cheap

Had a really nice stay, duvets were very plush and new, it was nice and big in the mixed-dorm area and had a useful little kitchen and serving hatch, and it wasn't directly on top of the pub so minimal noise, very comfy night! (The rock band playing were excellent though, great to see local talent!)

Quick stay sure. Not ideal.

Stayed in the hotel. Paid $65USD/£50 in cash (ONLY CASH). No internet, no showers, no laundry facilities. The toilet was broken so I had to take off the back to manually flush. The beds were super uncomfortable but the sheets seemed clean and the comforter was fine. There was an old dusty fan in the room, but barely cooled it down. Not an ideal option, but the receptionist/bar keep was a nice old man.

Great for a stay over

I've stayed here a couple of times now as a stay over when visiting a local band venue. Very basic but clean and comfortable. Always a good price. Welcoming and friendly staff. Great beer for the real ale drinkers. Can't beat the cooked breakfast. Will see you again soon.

Disabled people poked fun of

Disgusting.. The large build couple love it to poke fun of and humiliate disabled people. It's bizarre, why do nasty? Would it make them look prettier by insulting others? Avoid this place!
The location is of course great opposite the railway station. But if you go up the stairs towards the traffic lights, a row of nice and friendly hotels and guest houses can be found.

Excellent value for money with amazing home cooked food

An excellent find in the area. I stay regularly for business, good sized clean rooms with the added bonus of amazing traditional home cooked food. Excellent location as well.
Nothing is too much trouble for Eric the owner to help with.
