Excellent little overnight stop between days at Chessington World of Adventures!

Reception smelt of faeces, disgusting first impression. The mats in reception were disgusting, probably the cause of the smell, get rid!
The rooms were grubby, and need a good DEEP clean, fixtures and fittings broken, ripped, dirty, carpets were dirty, grubby hand prints everywhere.
Only good thing was the beds were comfortable and the room is soundproof.

Ideal location for a family visit to Thorpe Park. Family room with 3 beds was perfect for us travelling with 2 children. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately the fire alarm was set off by another guest which blighted our stay but not the fault of the hotel, who were apologetic at the disturbance as we checked out,

The family room we stayed in was riddled with bed bugs so we had to be moved into 2 separate single rooms as there were no family rooms available. I don’t know how this wasn’t picked up by house keeping as it was all over the double bed! Apart from that everything was fine but basic, you get what you pay for. Breakfast was decent, full English with a few cereal options and fruit.
