Edinburgh tattoo stay

We arrived at the hotel earlier than expected and was warmly greeted by the lovely owner, Craig.
He made us very welcome, and told us where to go local for food until our room was ready .
The hotel was extremely clean and welcoming and our room was too.
Just a 40 minute walk to town.
During our stay my husband had a nasty fall and a hospital visit, and Craig was very understanding, enquired after him, and helped us when needed.
Couldn't have wished for a better host and hotel.
Will definitely be back

Clean comfortable stay

Lovely and clean room .. nice decor…welcoming staff and room ready early an hour before check in
Location 15 minutes by regular bus service to main centre .. less journey time I expect when fringe not on

Great location for getting into Edinburgh centre.. regular buses just outside.
Accommodation above our expectations and spotlessly clean.
Had room 5 with private toilet and shower facilities just outside our room, again spotlessly clean, small but adequate. Owner very pleasant and helpful nothing too much trouble.
Would definitely recommend this establishment.

Deserves to cost more - a really great value stay

Craig tells me he rebuilt this place from scratch - and he's done a wonderful job. Everything in the rooms is up to the standard of a modern hotel, nothing creaks or goans - it's really a new residence in an old facade and I felt I was getting the very best of both old and new

Fantastic!

18 Craigmillar Park is in a perfect location just outside Edinburgh city centre. It is a beautiful, very well maintained place to stay.
The owner, Craig, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He provides a personal approach that makes you feel immediately welcome. His attention to detail really makes all the difference.
The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. In addition, tea, coffee, water and snacks are available unlimited, which is a nice extra service.
An absolute must is the use of the rental bikes to travel to and from the center. That’s not only simple and comfortable, but often faster than the bus or an Uber, because you’re not stuck in traffic.
We have stayed here with great pleasure and can highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Edinburgh.
