If you are planning a trip to Edinburgh, this hotel is a fantastic choice. The location is absolutely perfect—situated just off the bustling Grassmarket, it offers a peaceful retreat while still keeping 'everything' within easy walking distance. It is an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh on foot. An extra bonus is the indoor swimming pool, which was a great feature to enjoy after a long day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend staying here!

We only stayed one night, but it was a really nice place to stay. When we checked in the front desk staff was quiet so it was hard to hear what he was saying. But still very helpful. When we went back to check-in the lady was really helpful and even ordered us a taxi for the morning. It was a quiet place and would recommend a friend or family staying there if they were visiting.

Amazing !

We had such an amazing stay and dinner here. Anna was sooo kind and welcoming, she also makes the best cocktails . Absolutely lovely. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and made us feel welcome instantly. The room and the facilities exceeded our expectations.

Traveling with a Tour Group doesn't mean that you are just another "face in the crowd."

Staying three days at the Novotel Edinburgh Centre, I found The facilities to be exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the courteous, friendly, helpful staff to be willing to go "above and beyond" to make the stay feel like a visit with friends and family.
I can't say enough about the dedication of their young employees, and Magda shown brightly among their "stars '

First time in Scotland

With a tour group, its an average stay - has what you need; however, the coffee choice in the room is subpar. Complimentary water in the room was nice, although we've been told yiu can drink tap water in Scotland, some of the cleanest. Location is good for the area sights.
