This was our first stop on a 2 week Scotland vacation. The location was prime as we could walk to all of the Edinburgh highlights. The room was as expected. The only hiccup was at check in where we were unable to get our room key and struggled with the self checking. We had to wait 15-20 minutes in the lobby for a call and to get the issue resolved. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

It did have street noise but the ear plugs helped. Having face towels would have helped. But they were very responsive and stocked the fridge.

Hotel set in a beautiful old building, in a quiet area close to the city (about 20-30 mins walk) lots of buses available too. Self check in was easy, our room was a good size and the treats were appreciated! Would stay again. We were fortunate to find on street parking close by.

Quiet location (if using bedroom at the back away from the road.) easily accessible to City Centre by frequent buses from across the road. Clean and comfortable room. Would happily stay again.

There is parking available if you get lucky, but it is street parking. The shower produced either scalding water or frigid water and nothing in between more than a few seconds. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the host was accommodating. Overall it was a nice stay.
