Highly Recommendable Guest House in Elgin
Just a short distance from the centre of Elgin which makes most other local facilities (including the station), walkable.
We saw both hosts. They provided a nice friendly and informative welcome on arrival, at were upbeat at breakfast and again as we set off.
My friend and I had booked two rooms which were fairly simple in a sense but well decorated and equipped and were fresh and clean - and matched the descriptions accurately.
The guidance book in the room had lots of information about the guest house itself plus information on some things both 'local' and a little further distant and there were OS maps and other reference information we could have consulted.
The breakfast was very good - the food was of a very good standard and items well presented.
We felt the room and breakfast price represented extremely good value.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this B and B and although Elgin is not the easiest place for us to get to for a short stay we'd have no hesitation in giving it serious consideration for another visit.

Charming
Excellent breakfast choices. Only complaint I have, as an American, is that coffee is served later than I’d like—after fruit cup and croissant.
Bedroom was very nice. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom.
